  1. I'm a metal rooster. ... That sounds like a Megaman X boss.
  2. Because for the last FIVE pages those in favor have been fixated on photoreal CG valks! Not possible. From where I sit, the thread is only 3 pages long. ... Yes, I did alter the posts per page setting.
  3. I do read the mission objectives and the "skill point" objectives. (It was good to take Japanese 100) I assume the objective is "kill everything" unless I'm shown otherwise. Playing an older one on an emu with save states helps too. You can get a feel for what does what without screwing yourself in the process.
  4. I play no FAQ no language skills. Lot of guesswork and pattern recognition.
  5. what thats cruel. please feed the trolls. don't make me startup one of those tv donation shows that take up a whole day. Save the trolls with the price of a cup of coffee you can feed little timmy here and 15 of his troll friends. and to end all aruguements your all scrawny boys, i make arnold look like the nerd you see playing d&d inside the locker i stuff him in. Techincaly im one giant bicept with legs A1 would be paralized with fear at the site of my oiled muscle bound body and the blood vessals will pop out of my skin as I flex any muscle i choose. k. you can now delete this thread instead of locking it . Nonsense. It now has to be stickied so EVERYONE knows how awesome you are.
  6. I LIKE FF7. That's the problem. I JUST like it. I'm sick of hearing about it, I'm NOT entertained by all the hype, and I want it to have the decency to die like every other game. Far more worthy games have come and gone, but FF7 has become some eternal fixture that people won't quit babbling about.
  7. Sorry to hear about the robbery. Yeah, the law in UK is pretty much the same, protects the criminal and if you even think about self defence, you're probably looking at a jail term. One of the many, many reason why I chose to no longer live in UK. Graham well, i see that everywhere the law protects the criminals. the case here at mexico is that either human rights will try to aid the criminals or will get me to jail if i beat someone senseless in my very own home. even worse it is known that in certain cases the cops make deals with the thieves. for example my house is less than two minutes from a police station, when my house got robbed one of the neighbors actually called the police, but it took a lot of time for them to arrive, giving the robbers enough time to steal mainly electronics. perhaps the only way i can use force is in the case that my life or the life of my family was in danger, to be honest i'd rather allow them to take anything as long as they don't hurt anyone, besides i don't have any gun beacuse the use of one for self-defense makes you look like the agressor. and if it was not enough the sentences they recive are enough to make you either laugh or cry. Cross the border. Become a Texan. Feel the power. Only half-joking here.
  8. http://homepage.mac.com/thansson/reviews/T...ransformers.htm This one? Oh, gods... not that! For what it's worth, it IS beatable, you just have to know the right path through the stage 9 maze. YES! VICTOLY IS MINE! FOR GREAT JUSTICE!! Since we're sharing... http://homepage.mac.com/thansson/reviews/M.../MacrossNES.htm *chuckles* Nice review. I find it odd that they're making a big deal out of the background explosions. It's so unimpressive that it isn't even funny. Surely everyone's seen background animation before.
  9. Still avoiding anything FF7-related. So how about we say Spirits Within instead?
  10. They added crossover attacks to Alpha Dreamcast. And if I recall, to Alpha 2 on the PS2.
  11. Yup! And Harmony Gold will politely admit they were wrong and step out of the way of real Macross. And... nah, let's drop the comparisons now. Heck, HG is even relevant here, as SRWA3 has Macross in it.
  12. http://homepage.mac.com/thansson/reviews/T...ransformers.htm This one? Oh, gods... not that! For what it's worth, it IS beatable, you just have to know the right path through the stage 9 maze. YES! VICTOLY IS MINE!
  13. Don't forget SRWGaiden. And SD THREE G! (again)
  14. Only if we can dust Yoda off for Focker. "HIKARU! Women and booze you must pick up, yes!"
  15. Hmm A1, I'm surprised You resemble Basara much more In your face, self-centered, thinks-he's-the best-since-sliced-bread, Vocal ..... a perfect Basara OH NO! HE'S GONNA BLOW! RUN!
  16. We'd be short a few Star Wars sequels. Straight to colonization instead of reconstruction. ... They were pretty close to death star anyways. They didn't. It's all a vast conspiracy to convince us that armageddon is coming.
  17. Honestly? I think the hordes of blind fanboys are big enough to push live-action Eva on into successful movie.
  18. Nemesis wasn't marketed well at all. And was launched one week before The Two Towers, AKA the single most highly anticipated film of the year. Only way it could've been worse was if it opened the same weekend. Of course, Nemesis also reeked of poor production. And finding Data's "brother" was a fundamentally flawed subplot, given they totally ignored the fact that they already knew Data had a brother, and that he was a royal pain in the ass. They also found Data's dismembered head at one point too(damn time travel stories), so even just digging up familiar android skulls wasn't exactly a new concept and they should have NOT been shocked and amazed. ... Of course, if the 'bot had actually BEEN Lore, like everyone in the audience was hoping, we'd've had a FAR more interesting movie. All things considered, it was HARDLY the worst Trek movie. It was actually one of the better ones, in my opinion. Innovative is required to succeed in the market? Anyways, Voyager was innovative. That just made it all the more bitter. They had a totally new area of space, the entire damn series was a blank slate. And then totally crapped out on us. There were a few gems, but the series as a whole was just ... crap. Hmmm... as I recall, the original Trek was killed in a smiliar way. Bumped season 3 to infomercial time, guaranteeing no one would watch it. *barfs* Sadly, this is true. Bad sitcoms and the single worst genre in history is all that anyone seems to care about. ... Heck, the sitcom is mostly dead too. That'd be nice, actually. I thought the mini-series feel of Enterprise earlier this season was a nice change of pace. Left them enough room to tell a story, without getting forced like the previous season-long arc. I find over-saturation a funny label, though. The entire run of DS9 was 2 series at once. As was most of Next Gen, to the best of my recollection. Next Gen + original series reruns(at least on my local network). DS9 premiers, can Kirk. Stop Next Gen, Voyager starts. End DS9... hey, where's our new series? Ah well, if Voyager is an indication of quality we're better off with just one. Voyager is where things really whiplashed around into crap. DS9, amazingly, remained more or less immune. There were a lot of really good episodes, right through the last season. It's like all the good writers stayed on DS9, and left when it was over.
  19. It's not that there's no market, it's that Viacom has no clue how to exploit it and has run it into the ground with bad production and poor marketing. Hell, they got sued over it a while back by Activision(who felt that Viacom had screwed them by driving the liecnse into the ground after they bought game rights).
  20. I kicked that around for a while. I wanted to keep the stripe on the head since I wanted to retain the original scheme of the head design, and the racing stripe. I am not sure yet as to whether or not the head will stay this way. I am thinking about repainting it. As a thought... if you want to spice things up without going back to the classic green visor, try something in a dark gray. I think it'd look good that way.
  21. Not sure lenient is the word I would use. Insane, maybe. But not lenient.
  22. The metallic one is even more beautiful than the regular one.
  23. As long as we're counting the ethnicities... Global is officially italian. Roy is "american"(though, as you noted, the name implies a german heritage). As far as fanboys trying to keep their shows to themselves... I'm incredibly insulted. I think it's a dumb idea. I acknowledge this. But I'd say the same thing if this was a thread about a live-action Robotech or Gundam movie. I HAVE said the same thing about the live-action Transformers movie. ESPECIALLY Transformers, where there's not even a POINT to having live action parts. NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THE HUMANS. </tangent> I don't understand why people keep clamoring for their favorite animated productions to be remade as live-action shows. Down that road lies nothing but tears. Sure they can do a lot with CG, but animation and live action are really suited for diffrent kinds of productions. What makes for good animation makes for a lame live-action movie.
  24. Apology accepted. And I'll try to cut you some slack on the typing.
  25. I still have the fry-bot. BigMac too. The fry-bot is hideous, but you will respect the BigMac. Hoenstly, I miss the old days. McD's used to make fun, original toys. Now they make a small POS for whoever pays them the most money.
