    Ah, they're porting RE:Make. I'm honestly surprised it took them this long. I really expected them to have PS2 ports immediately after RE4 did. So is RE:0 next, to complete the GameCube trifecta?

    I think they actually had a seance and asked their good buddy Carl for help writing the script from beyond the grave. But they spilled coffee on the ouija board halfway through, so that's why they say he only wrote part of it. Or, you know, that they want to throw Macek's name around and plaster it to everything because he can't defend himself anymore and they think it gives them some credibility/deniability.

    But how many animation studios had a banner hanging overhead while the people that cared about him were trying to lay his remains to rest? I REALLY wish I'd saved the photo of the Robotech ad at Mr. Macek's funeral. Because GOD DAMN.

"Project by Harmony Gold Productions Los Angeles, CA First created · 6 backed " APPARENTLY, the Robotech budget has gone to funding LeVar Burton and Reading Rainbow(good on them, for once), as well as the fifty-five thousand dollar potato salad. I wonder if Mr. Argama knows where his money is going.

    They're filing a lawsuit for patent infringement, because Carl invented crowdfunding. Judge: "Right, well, that seems reasonable enough. You seem to have neglected to supply the patent as evidence, though." HG: "Oh, that's confidential business information, we can't show it to you. But you can take our word for it." J: "That's.... not how intellectual property law works. We can't just 'take your word for it'. We actually need to see your patent to verify your claims." HG: "Funny, it's always worked before..."

    No funds will be returned, because no funds were collected. Everyone would be out two hundred grand if it weren't for Kickstarter not collecting any money until the end of the campaign IF the goal is met. Also: What the heck am I supposed to do with my evenings if I can't watch the Kickstarter implode?

    Orguss Valk has different feet too, if I recall. And why it's never appeared in Super Robot Wars is anyone's guess.

    Gah! That Muv-Luv figure again! I can't afford to add ANOTHER expensive and space-consuming pursuit right now, but damn if I don't love the aesthetics on that franchise.

    Personally, I consider everything that happened until Generation 2 started shipping to be "Generation One" Because that's the only reason we're even HAVING this discussion, Generation 2 provided a nice clean breakpoint. ... Or not so clean, since G2 is, outside of the comics, almost entirely a repackaging of G1 ANYWAYS. I have difficulty reconciling the idea of MODERN productions being "Generation One" products.

    You already know it won't be enough. I still think Space Brick looks really neat, but not "like a Transformer". And yes, I'm aware how silly this classification is, so don't try to point out the gaping flaws in my logic. I already know they're big enough to drive Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, and Motormaster through side-by-side. Especially since I kinda want him IN SPITE of the "not-transformerness".
