    Man, at that price the Sphero needs to be friggin' life-size, not thumb-size. The Hasbro one is bigger, cheaper, and makes droid sounds. I don't see how the Sphero is even in the running. Personal opinion, your mileage may vary, past performance is no indicator of future success, all trademarks are the property of their respective owners, et cetera.

    Partially disappointed they aren't continuing on from Second Raid. Partially glad because I rewatched the series recently shortly after reading the books it covers, and the first series is not handled as well as it should be. Mostly? Hoping it's followed with a Fumoffu! II.

    I had the fancy Spay-C, and a couple of the fancy cars. I was kinda stunned when I realized there was a different Spay-C, he was completely lame, and somehow my AWESOME one was the noncanon one. I ALSO had an oatmeal tin full of the smaller ones, but I don't have near as many fond memories of THOSE. Bug Bite, Baron Von Joy, the space car... THOSE define Go-Bots for me. Oh, and the drilltank. Drilltanks are always awesome, even when they're only two inches long.

    Gubaba's right. Personally, I remain bothered by DYRL's incompleteness. There's a middle and an end, but no beginning. It makes it hard for me to endorse wholeheartedly, and it's kind of a large flaw in an otherwise fantastic show.

    Looks right. It's just "we're gonna paint Optimus Eva purple" seems odd when you have a mold that carries at least six different paint jobs in the cartoon sitting underutilized.

    I'm honestly surprised it's taken them this long to DO a Ramjet. I mean, it's only minor work to get SIX characters out of the mold instead of three, so why NOT do it? How many repaints has Optimus had?

    They died when the Death Star blew up. This is both physically likely and WAS semi-canon until they made the X-Wing books fictional X-Wing books established the imperial museum on Coruscant had an exhibit about the rebel's genocidal massacre of the adorably cuddly ewoks. It is not clear how much of that exhibit was simply editorializing of events and how much was making poo up. But it's not a good idea to say the ewoks are all dead if they aren't, as it undermines the entire propaganda campaign once someone notices the ewoks. Which isn't to say that, even in the absence of a Death Star cataclysm, an angry empire wouldn't have glassed Endor in revenge.

    And that it's cheaper to release an uncontested program than a contested one. Even if they CAN afford to fight HG, it doesn't make good business sense to pick up a license you already know WILL result in an expensive legal fight when you can just as easily get a license that DOESN'T involve an expensive legal fight instead. You have to believe the profits will offset the legal costs for it to make sense. And importing anime is not, by most counts, a high-profit market these days. Mech anime even less so. If I were in the anime localization business, I'd stay the heck away from Macross too. Even if the licensor is willing to pay the legal costs(and they likely aren't), it still ties my staff and resources up in a legal quagmire that I don't want to be in. I'm not happy about it, but... it's simply not a viable franchise, financially speaking.

    I thought she had some sort of beam weapon at first too. Was trying to figure out how the blade attached to her quarterstaff, but no. It's Kylo Ren's sword held parallel to her scrap-metal staff.
