Crazimus Prime is definitely distinct. I'm honestly not even bothered how out of character he is, precisely because of how out of character he is. You get far enough away, and there ceases to be any connection to the original beyond a name, and that's where Crazimus sits.

We could deliver commission fees for manga pages. ... This sounds like a bankrupting proposition.

I was around five when the original cartoon started, and pretty much immune to logic issues. But even then, I loved space. A rocket base was like the coolest thing ever. I admit, the Ark turning into a giant robot was pretty cool too.- 17042 replies

God, and they completely wasted those minutes, too. Superhero movies have a really bad habit of killing off the bad guy every time, no matter how much potential he has left, or how famous his escapes are. It's kind of a serious problem. Also: This is kinda ironic in hindsight. And sad.

I fail to see how turning into an entire rocket launch complex is less awesome. I mean, it raises all sorts of logic questions, sure. But it's awesome as heck.- 17042 replies

If it's IndieGogo, they can set up a fundraising drive where they get money immediately, no matter how little is pledged. If one person pledges five bucks, they get five bucks and can buy a couple cokes for the "project" fridge.

The computer and electronics super geek thread
JB0 replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Naw, there's still major bandwidth issues that make streaming full BR-quality files unfeasable in a lot of places, especially as ISPs try to place caps on anyone who dares use their connection for more than the occasional plain text file. -

Yeah, I'm oldschool in that optical driveyness too. And BluRay is a matter of quality over convenience. No one streams BR-quality audio and video, or even close. -

Because optical drives aren't cool anymore. You're supposed to be living in the streamed cloud now, or something. -
That's a good reason.
