Really wish they never add any "references" of old macross in the series... the final episode is so full of it. Especially that "speech about vajra are our friend, don't step on them anymore" The last episode is pretty flashy, however it sucks it has to end like this... (at least add more macross song~) Overall, i don't like frontier as much...Always with the damn open ending, if they should copy... copy the first macross... tell us who alto choose at least!!

How many of us cried? My eyes is still sore red after 2 hour from watching that scene. Especially with Sheryl singing that song in the background... doubling up the effect.

Macross plus was pretty revisit with the "ghost" fighters isn't it? It was actually used! Consider they never used it for Macross 7. There were also some mention of Chiba's song energy before was it ? (But my memory is vague right now...need to watch it again) ... anyhow... i wouldn't be surprise sooner or later... Ranka will wear that "light sound ampifier" soon...maybe come as a magic stick and she will start doing some "magic girl" moves and shoot beams of energy to Vajras.

I don't think its bootleg, its pack in a nice box at least and it have title licenses. Meanwhile, if anime need to get licenses to sell in NA, they also need to do so in Hong kong and taiwan and rest of china. The chinese market for anime is 10 no... 100 times...maybe even 1000 times bigger then what the North american market gives. If you are a smart business man, which market would you go? a small anime market or a big anime market? And of course, chinese subtitle is a must and most likely chinese voice audio (as these get broadcast on daily TV.... not just anime special channel..i am talking about DAILY general TV...) As a chinese, i can say i start watching anime since 3? ... I even saw the original SDF on hong kong daily TV...

Anyone actually played this game ? i just digged some old game and start playing this on ps2 again, i just notice macross 7 actually have a storyline on this. I am not too far into the game, but it seem it connect the "missing" megaroad (on why it is missing) with macross 7 (sure they are lucky) and the best part is one of the stage "Basara" duel "sheron Apple" on SDF ... (i love that stage) Of course, since this is not really the main macross story, so the stuff doesn't go with the read stuff, just a fun side story,

Sherry Norme doesn't look 17 at all. If the offical website didn't say she was 17. i would say she is that yellow hair girl from M7 that trying and trying so hard to give flowers to basara.

I actually have the old Dvd version of macross 7 box set and i just saw the newer remastered. I really can't tell the differences at all... It just look abit brigther and a tiny bit smoother. For 600 USD, i don't think it worry it. But there is a torrent around carry the HD remastered macross 7 now, @ 106 gigs require Double layer DVD to burn (cost around 50 bucks for 25). By the way, my macross 7 dvd box set have english sub. If you buy anime from Hong kong/China/Taiwan license you will find english sub on those Dvd. But i don't think the Remastered HD version will be redone over there. You can always hope and try find it.
