Yeah, it's the only weak point on what I consider to be a pretty perfect toy... I'm guessing the designers must have thought the toy needed such joints to enable Spidey to stand and pose. Because every other joint (and there are so many) is awesome and completely flexible. But the sculpt just plain rocks. I couldn't agree with you more.
