This is a first. I prefer the matte finish. The glossy finish made it look toyish. Then again it is a toy...well not in my book it's not! OO -
Yes, exactly. Also have a hard time getting the nose cone to click back or lock in place.

I can not for the life of me figure out how to attach the fast packs to my YF-19. I was looking a picture of Ruskii's and he has his connected seamlessly, but I am obviously doing something wrong when I attempt to attach mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Megazone 23 Garland By Yamato Thread
MacrossMan replied to Renato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Transgender, who appointed you chief of sales? It's obvious I don't care about fixing the thing otherwise I "put forth" the effort in fixing it. Anybody interested probably would be buying it for spare parts; perhaps because they were unsuccessful at obtaining the parts needed from Yamato USA. If you're not interested then just keep it moving. What are you? Broke as a Bo-dollar or is it the hormones you're on? This is the second time you have made some sissified reply in regards to a sale or how items are paid for. No proper man. Not proper at all. OO- 1056 replies

The Megazone 23 Garland By Yamato Thread
MacrossMan replied to Renato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Anyone interested in purchasing a Garland with a busted arm. The toy is brand new. The arm came apart at the shoulder when I tried to pose it. According to posts here Yamato USA will replace the arm for free. I am no longer interested in the toy and would make someone here a sweet deal if they are interested in it.- 1056 replies

Good point, but my same order with BBTS would have come to $309.94 before shipping. Risk vs. savings... With risk you have to understand that there's a chance you might lose in the end. I chosen risk knowing all the dynamics in the level of service Toy-Wave has provided its customers and the risk has paid off. It's unfortunate that some have had bad experiences. Unfortunate for customers, but even more unfortunate for Toy-Wave as the issue injects doubt into possible customers which in turn causes them to lose business. When I make a purchase from them I go into it fully knowing that there's a chance that the transaction might not go smooth. With the economy the way it is people are looking to save any way possible.
-
My goodness, if you ever want to sell this custom please let me know!
-
I think it's fair to say DND got dealt a raw deal by Toy-Wave. In this rare instance they should have bit the bullet and took care of their customer IMO. You have to take the good and the bad when deciding to do business with a company. There should be very little, if any, bad associated with the company's customer service record. As stated in my first reply, they have had some rocky spots with members here as well as some good ones. I recently purchased four of the 1/48 Macross stands and two Ghost Booster sets for a total of $183 shipped to the states EMS in a box. Price wise, they are hard to beat, but you have to take into account the good and bad experiences of members here and make a decision. My money isn't long at all so the risk was worth the savings in the end...
-
Yep, and they are running an anniversary sale so I think you at least get an additional 5% in savings and the amount goes up based on how much you spend.
-
Now that's buck wild! I'm actually two steps ahead of you! I just looked at this and I am in the middle of creating an order with SilverDragon; pain-stakingly copying and pasting my order in Microsoft Word!!! Get outta my head man! That's how you beat the dealers in Vegas! You're a flippin mind reader holmes!! OO

Ha! Nothing like mutual Ballchinian hatin! I'm pretty stoked about that thing too. Can't wait to get it. Hope looks as good in person as it does in the pics. I'm still blown away by the fact that there are people out here with the skills to do this kind of custom work! I bought the thing for the fast packs only really; they are sick!!! OO

I see. According to your description it doesn't sound as difficult as I am thinking. The thing with me is I have a problem with disassembling $100 toys for the sake of trial and error. If it's as simple as described I'll probably give it a go...or just look for one that's for sale. Either way I have what I need to get the Max 1S. As always, thanks for the info guys. Now if I can just find some 1/48 DYRL hands!
