  1. I was searching for the Macross theme song for my DJ'ing gig and ran across this site. You can download a lot of the songs from Macross. Best part is they are instrumental and are great for karaoke. I thought I would post it here and maybe you guys can have a contest at the convention for a prize or something. I for one would do it if that sketch was up for grabs. Will you lovveee me tooomorrowwww!!!!!!! http://www.animekaraokes2.com/anime/m/macross.html OO
  2. All mine arrive to my workplace. Some come out the box and get played with. I be this one will be one that will come out the box! OO

  6. I concur with miriya and Ryno; side covers for me three! OO
  7. By the way VV, I thoguht that was you at the end of DYRL; potraying Hikaru when you pimp/back-slapped Minmay into singing! I told ya it aint easy!
  8. Technically, no. But since she purchased me the W.H.A.M. 1/500 SDF-1 for my birthday and the Macross Zero Shin 1/60 with Ghost Booster Set for Father's Day, she has an idea of what I have spent. She actually summed it up to about six grand on Father's Day and I did not comment. I have other non-toy related collections I have spent far more on so she's not shocked at "my collecting", but I would say it has taken some acceptance for the fact that they were originally "toys" from her perception.
  9. Okay, so I have been at this hobby since January. I've watched there entire Macross cartoon series a couple times, but I am still lost on Macross: Do You Remember Love. What is its significance and how did the title come to be??? OO
  10. My wife and I were sitting in my office yesterday and she said, "You know babe, these "things" actually look like collector's items and not toys and I am really startin to appreceiate them as not being toys". I was stoked especially now that Kevin has received the YF-21's and mines is on its way. After going looney the past few months to complete my 1/48 collection, that actually made me feel pretty good! OO
  11. Surely that CF does not fly!!! OO
  12. Vegas Valkyrie the part-time pimp! Pimpin' aint easy, but somebody's gotta do it...Ice-T. I feel you on that bro. We gotta do what we gotta do to get what we want. It is what it is. OO
  13. I used to build and race 1/10 scale RC buggies and trucks about 15 years ago. A lot has changed since then, but one thing remains constant: FLYING HELICOPTERS IS DIFFICULT!!! The technology has gotten way better and is cheaper to produce which makes "entry-level" coptors a lot more appealing and available to your average Joe. An RC chopper cost anywhere from $600-$1000 when I was in the hobby and that just just for the chopper itself! Today you can get a fairly powerly RC helicopter for under $200 that includes everything you need right out of the box. There in lies the misconception that it's easy or "entry-level". There's nothing entry-level about flying helicopters. Anybody that has been in the hobby would recommend you start out with a good RC trainer or entry-level plane before you even consider purchasing a helicopter. I certainly would not purchase one for a box store. If you must have it be sure to purchase from a hobby shop as they will have the parts you will more than likely need to rebuild from a crash or other mishap. I would even suggest building it yourself as you will be more familiar with the parts and how it functions and know how to fix it or upgrade when you need to. Good luck!
  14. I feel ya on that one squidd, but for me personally I've wanted the Max's TV version in 1/48 scale. Hopefully prices won't be too bad.
  15. Having dealt with Save on a recent purchase I would gladly give the $70 plus an additional $30; which doesn't come close to the amount of time and hassle it requires of personal time. I know my time comes at a premium so putting a value on it would be difficult. I also will vouch for Save's shipping methods. The guy goes far and beyond to make sure items make it in one piece. The Valk I purchased was bubble wrapped then styrofoam inserts placed around the box to stiffen it up and provide further protection. Item also arrived in three days from Japan. This was all done without me even asking. The handling charge is nothing in the scope of having the opportunity to own one of these exclusives if you really want it. Just my two cents. OO
  16. WHERE'S SAVE???
  17. What he said exactly!!! OO
  18. I voted for the 1/48 VF-1J/A without FP. My vote would have to be for my 1/48 custom VF-1D 2-seater because it represents the first Valkyrie we saw change its configuration before we learned of Roy's badness and the rest of the crew. Besides that it's extremely rare! 1/48's till I die homie! OO
  19. I would be happy with the reactive armor!
  20. That's one scary thought Ruskii! I'm afraid what you would do with that much space!
  21. We appreciate the Ballchinian brother! UBERVALKDISPLAYISM...you might have to translate that for those who don't understand Ballchin! OO
  22. Awesome shots Vegisian! I must concur with Ruskii; the Stealth parts on the Hikky VF-1S looks kick a$$!!!
