  1. Ha! Funny you say that miriya. When I stumbled upon this website I was clueless as to what Macross even was. In order to look at the pics I had to log-in and create a profile. I didn't think I would even be around so I just made up the first thing that came to mind which was MacrossMan. I thought it was kind of corny, but it didn't matter because I just wanted to look at the pictures and again, didn't think it would be a site I would frequent. 7 months and about 7 grand later, that name has truly manifested and it is what I have become...MacrossMan! I find myself whistling "My Boyfriend Is A Pilot" while at work. It's insane how addictive this hobby is, but I love it! Thanks to you for developing the idea of the 1/48 scale diorama. Your idea and Ron's skills have made me and others happy to get these awesome one offs! OO
  2. We appreciate the Ballchinian bretheren's appreciation! Ron is a genius when it comes to this stuff. It is simply beyond me man! Unbelieveable! OO
  3. You're telling me! I've hit >EXO< up recently about the Thunder Hammer a couple times. He hit me back once, but never responded back to my PM's. I had planned on picking up a kit if it was still available and not terribly expensive, or try to obtain a set of the decals and add them to my urban armor with some weathering as tribute to the Thunder Hammer. Where're you at >EXO<? Hit a brother back! Throw me a frickin' bone (Austin Powers)! OO
  4. Thanks Valkyrie addict. All the credit goes to ron5864 he has done some sick custom dioramas and I have been fortunate enough to have him complete one for me. The vending machine is a nice touch; adds to the realism of it. The pictures don't do it much justice. My wife saw it and thought it was something from a movie set. It actually looks like a small scale set to something out of a sci-fi movie in person! Unbelieveable! Oh, and that decal started coming off because I messed around with it too much. It's a Takatoys decal, which are great, but this I abused to much so I am going to have to assign it a different number. OO
  5. Thanks eugimon. The credit goes to ron5864 for hooking me up. He's prohibitedly insane when it comes to creating these things with unsurpassable realism. I too was blown out the water with the vending machine and all the small details. OO
  6. Thought Hikaru looked pretty sweet getting suited up in the GBP armor. OO
  7. more... OO
  8. Custom diorama by MW member ron5864. OO
  9. As much as I like the new v2 1/60's, I'm still a diehard 1/48 fan. Thanks to Ron for a fantastic diorama and crew set to display the beautiful scale of the 1/48's. No thanks to the USPS for banging it up and knocking everything loose during shipment. An evening with some super glue gel took care of piecing it back together. OO
  10. I believe this is a John Mascoto/Captain America 2-seater kit. Not sure about the chest plate, head sculpt and lasers. I picked this up from Toboro. It was customized by a member here. Who says 1/48 2-seaters can't be done?
