I've yet to transform the new 1/60, but can vouch for its solidness in fighter mode. Here pics to prove it. My 6 year old son and I were watching DYRL last night. Since the toy was sitting on my desk he asked if he could "touch" it. I was actually comfortable enough for him to "play" with it. He ran and swooshed around the room without a single piece of the plane coming apart. I was only nervous about him falling and breaking something, but it was worth it to vicariously re-live my childhood while watching him play with one of the coolest Valks made while enjoying the movie. OO

Totally diggin' the Batman web sound effects! WAP! Anywho, it's kind of dollish, but I like it. I'v'e been eyeing these and trying to bring myself to drop 80 bones for one. Please give me your thoughts... OO<-------till the sweat drops...

Wow! These pictures are simply insane! I'm more impressed with the pictures than the valk itself! Just plain beautiful!!! This new 1/60 just makes the 1/48's and the v1 1/60 butt-backwards wrong! It's like everything that could have been fixed has been fixed! Now if Yamato would only make this in 1/48 scale!!!

I'd like to keep them as only the backpack broke from the fighter. According to the company they must have the broken items for accounting purposes and plus they like to show their employees what can result if they're not careful. I'm to see if I can convince them to take pictures and let me keep the items. If I am able to keep them holler at in PM if you're interested in them. Who knows, if I get to keep them I might try my hand at a custom one day... OO

Hikky's on my desk... Enjoying a much needed break from work this week and finally got a chance to get the 1/60 VF-1A out and fully examine it...WOW! This little mota-scoota is pretty neat! It has probably already been said, but if you're the type that likes to play with your Valks no worries with this one. Everything is tight and clickity and locks into place. Anywho, here's few pics of it along with the other Hikaru fighters with the exception of the v1 1/60 VF-1A. And yes, that's a busted up VF-1J with armor lying on my desk. Never let the cleaning lady near your toys. Awaiting payment from Molly Maid... OO

Just curious. I started out looking for a G1 Jetfire back in Jauary of this year until I found the Yamato toys. I'm all for nostalgia and all, but there's no way I would pay for one of these with exception of VF-1D, Super Ostrich, and Elint. After finding sexy Yamatos, the chunky just lost its appeal as far as I'm concerned. Would love to own the later three from 1984, but that's a far stretch. Closest thing I'll get is if these are re-released. That being said, what is it that you guys like about the Chunkies because them being so stout? OO

Seriously, what does it matter? Are MW members complaining? Are the posts causing the server to crash? If so, that's one thing, but I thought most were here to obatin and share Macross info and goodness while having some fun in the process. Most people who post have gotten in on the fun and gotten off topic, but for the most part it's all in fun. If the 4000 + plus number is causing people distress or dare I say jealousy, why not just reset the number to "0" or not count the post at all? What does it account for anyway? It's almost like some guys are standing in the shower and comaring the size of their Ballchinians... Being in a position of leadership, the expectation is different. This is certainly something that should have taken place in PM. Instead of condescending custom titles why not "man up" and hit the Ballchinian in PM instead of him putting him on blast as if "you've had it up to here" with excessive posting? Not very mod like in IMHO. OO

Mine is still sitting out in the front seat of my car in the garage Ron, but I agree with your sentiments exactly from what I saw at work today. I probably won't get to tinker with it and give it a better assessment until Sunday and hopefully I'll be off from work next week and get to handle it more. Aside from all that, I will be collecting all these bad boys and really could give a hoot less about my v1 1D, Elint, and Super Ostrich. Still cracking up at the spam avatar!!! OO

Maui wowie! Got my VF-1A with Super Strike Parts today and I see what all the hype has been about! This this is smooth as butter! Beautifully sculpted! Just plain goregous! Can't wait to get home and tinker with it! OO
