  1. Agreed. There was a picture of somone's collection posted in the forum a while back that showed how much space could be saved by doing the boxes this way. If I am not mistaken the member's name was Kensei I believe. The guy had all his valks secured with bubble wrap in plastic totes and all the accessories were seperated in little drawers or something.
  2. I like the look of Roy's. If the price is going to be somewhere in the $400 range I might consider picking one up. Anyone know what the price is going to be? Hopefully nothing near the $1888 the one sold for on ebay a few days ago.
  3. Any plans for a 1/60 Macross factory Ron? How about opening up shop on a real weathering factory?
  4. Yeah, I don't think I would even buy this one at the price of a regular Valk.
  5. That is wrong on so many levels! Questionable Yamato QA issues come to mind. I think you would be wise to go with a 1/60 v2 or 1/60 YF-21 as it has (knock on wood) no known QA issues. Solid Valk IMHO.
  6. I would also check with a mail service. I have shipped them within the U.S. using DHL for less than $15 plus an additionaal $2.50 - $3.50 for packing materials. The company packs the item and secures it either peanuts or some other form of protection to prevent damage to the packed item.
  7. Mac Plus Love 1/48 Hikaru DYR"L"ove 1/48 Max DYR"L"ove Ma-what?!?! Max who?!?! Muthafluck you and the Valk you flew in on Max!

    HLJ Virtual Tour

I'm clueless...someone please fill me in!
  11. Aight, so I imagine this has been asked a million times on this website and I can probably get to root of the problem by reading through this thread. Fact is; I don't have time and more importantly I don't want to go through all the "crap" of opinions. So if someone could please post a simple description as to what the problme is with Harmony Gold and Big West!
  12. Beautiful shots as always Vegas. You've inspired me to to display my Hikaru VF-1J and Armor. These are replacements after the cleaning lady knocked my old set down while dusting and busted it to pieces. It goes without saying they are no longer allowed new my toys.
  13. That's mad funny! I grew up with a guy and his nick name was thick-head!
  14. Yo weezil, did you do any panel lining on these or does the weathering "stuff" create this effect?
  15. My sentiments exactly. I could not agree more.

Man! What I wouldn't do to have this baby as part of my collection! Damn!!!
  17. I remember being in your shoes when I first got into the hobby a little over a year ago. Buying all sorts of what nots and not knowing what I was getting. Heck, I got into a bidding war over a Joon for crying out loud; and won the damn thing! I purchased two Toynami Masterpieces and three v1 1/60's (before the v2 1/60's were available). Then when I got my 1/48's that was all she wrote. I got rid of those Toynami's pieces like a bad habbit as well as the 1/60's. I eventually purchased three more v1 1/60's just because they were more rare: Elintseeker, VF-1D and the VT-1. I plan on practicing my weathering skills with these though. It would be nice if people new to the hobby could find this website before shelling out any cash for their toys. There's a wealth of information here to help collectors make the best possible purchases for their different tastes.
  18. Be that as it may, I think your opinion might change when you get your hands a on a v2 1/60. Welcome to the boards and say good-bye to your bank account.
  19. Hopefully you are happy with it. I hate seeing the auctions on Ebay where the seller is not being clear on whether or not they are selling a v1.0 or v2.0. It's almost as if they are hoping some unsuspecting collector new to the hobby will take the bait and bite.
  20. Thanks for that ikhii. I think I will take a dive into this and use the three v1 1/60 Valks I have for practice. Never seen a weathering job on an Elintseeker. Would be cool to see it on this Valk as I like the old box from the original.
  21. Ah-thank-you! Excuse me! Scweet!
