  1. This has me re-thinking my position on attending the con this year. Will it be for sale at the con?
  2. I have some instrumentals of some of the Macros TV music. Please let me know if you guys need them.
  3. What a travesty that would be! Nice work!
  4. Cool deal. No hard feelings; I was guilty and appreciated the heads up and didn't feel sigled out. Just wanted clarification for when sellers solicit comments. Hopefully those threads will be posted in the right place in the future for members to post their comments.
  5. I'm guilty of posting comments in for sale threads recently. My unsolicited comments on two occasions have centered on trying to get the seller to re-think selling an item unless they absolutely have to because most items are not selling for what they did 12 months ago. Totoro242’s comments make the most sense and should be the general rule for not posting comments in a for sale thread. I sent the following reply after receiving a PM from a mod regarding posting comments in for sale threads: I posted a comment because the seller seemed to be looking for advice when he stated he had been out of the loop on the value of the toys and wanted any info on the current values. In this case, should those comments be made in PM as well? Certainly not trying to piss on anyone's sale, but do understand how the comments might be a distraction. I'll keep advice and opinions in PM in the future; particularly when the seller is not seeking them. Again, thanks for the heads up. MM I did not receive an answer regarding posting comments when the seller solicits them and do not want to be wrong in assuming it is okay to post comments if the seller solicits advice. At the same time I do not want to do anything that appears I'm stepping on toes after a warning. Since this issue is being discussed in an open forum can a mod provide some clarification? Thanks!
  6. At least the weathering is done nicely or at least takes better on Max and isn't over priced. Meh, I could probably pass on this one. Haven't even taken my current Max out the box yet.
  7. I have searched to no end looking for information on the Minmay Guards; the Paris Act in particular. I have seen several customs in my search of the forums, but I would like to know if there is an official color scheme for the Paris Act. Most of the customs I have see parallel each other in their appearance with only slight differences. In searching online I can only locate Hasegawa kits for the Lunar/Moon Act. Does anyone know where I might find some official scans of the Paris Act or any official box art? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: Posted in wrong area. Re-posted in the customizing/model area.
  9. Here's to you Max. About to sacrifice my 1/48 DYRL Max VF-1S custom for another custom. Thought I would get all the Max's I have for a farewell shot. Got'em all together except for the 1/60 TV Max. Too lazy to get them all back together for another shot. Much love Max! Max love!
  10. Not I. As nice as they are and as bad as I would like to at least have Roy's to go with the 1/2000 SDF-1 when it comes out, I just have too many other wants at the moment. Hopefully by the time they are released I'll be in a position to get one.
  11. Not exactly. I think the correct term would be maybe "second wave" or re-release with corrected issues. I believe there was crooked gunpod issue. The "v2" was the the version that came bundled with the fold booster set.
  12. I agree with jenius on this one. I kind of spoke on some of what he mentions in the "Surprise" thread here.

Ahhh!! Good catch! I can see now that the backplate is gaping from the chest.

Look at the pictures posted above your reply. It appears the wings can be closed in battroid with the new stands...
  16. The manner in which Yamato is releasing Valks has shifted my view on my collection. I used to live and die by my 1/48's, but I now plan on selling off a few. I used to want to have everything in both scales, but as I begin to appreciate the hobby more and get away from just "hoarding" Valks for the sake of having them I am finding it easier to part with a few. Especially since I am running out of space and the 1/60's give you more real estate for your buck. Don't get me wrong, the 1/48 scale will always reign supreme in my book, but it's just kind of corny when I sit here at my desk and look at my display with identical Valks in different scales. Some are worth it like the TV Max. I love looking at those two side by side, but I will be sacrificing at least two (maybe three) of my 1/48's for custom work and selling off at least least custom to purchase more 1/60 scale Valks. Anybody intersted in a custom 1/48 VF-1D?

I've seen a few posts where members stated they were unable to close the wings behind the backpack in battroid mode using the new stands. Looks like it might be possible.

Logos makes them look so damn good! But I have heard too many negatives to buy in just yet. Really disappointed in this because it's really a cool looking stand.
  19. Help me to appreciate this Vegas...what am I looking at here???
