  1. LOL JC! I think he's just a kid man. He might get in trouble if gets behind the wheel of a car. The deal offered at this year's con was killer! 10 bucks per stand? Can't beat that with a bat.

And that my friend is what make these are so special. Nothing like good old fashioned nostalgia. I know I'm a selfish SOB for wanting the Kurt custom MG's, as well as some others, to remain exclusive to 1/48 scale. I am so hoping the Stealth, MG, or LV variations don't make it to the Yamato 1/60 production factory.
  3. I am dead serious when I say leave exclusive to the 1/48 fans. I can ride with that. I can ride with this too, just leave something exclusive to the 1/48 mold so that it eventually has some nostalgia. I mean take the 1/55 chunkies and everything cannon was done. There were no exclusives done in 1/55 except the CC Valk if my memory serves me right. I'd like to see the non-cannon Valks made in 1/48 scale remain exclusive to 1/48. Although it probably won't happen, it would be cool if it did.

    501 boy...check the markings...drooling.
  5. Booooo!!! No 1/60 Stealth! No 1/60 Stealth!
  6. Zoomed in, those markings appear to be waterslide decals...
  7. I'm hearing heavenly hymns from afar....
  8. Dude! I was never a fan of the clear fastpack and strike parts covers, but they look kick ass on the new 1/60's! Didn't realize they were out already. Where did you get them and how much did they set you back?
  9. That second picture gives me the impression that the "Parts" are going to be sold by themselves! Box appears to be upright and probably about the same size as current Valk boxes. If we had a side view of the box that would give a better idea. I'm certain this will be released as a set because of the gray visor and plan on getting it, but would like to have a set for the TV version as well. Hopeful...
  10. Damn. Looking at that picture leads me to believe that the armor is made to specifically attach to the include cartoon hands. Looks like the original hands will have to be removed and that forearm cover piece will go over the "nubs" where the hands normally are. The included hands will then be attached??? Man, that is going to suck in a major way. If this is the case modifying them to work with the DYRL hands might not be too much a challenge, but damn why would Yamato do this?
  11. My sentiments exactly All that woodgrain, the paper cone speakers, turntable with dustcover, and the old brick cell phone...WOW! Surely this is a collection of nostalgia! I don't even think the newer intelligent remotes are made to function with some those components. Nice collection though... I'd put us back on topic with a pose, but I'm at work...
  12. At this point everyone should have extra DYRL hands from their other Valks to get the mechanical hand look. Give it shot and I think you'll be satisfied. I do see your point that a set could have been included, but meh...we don't always get what we want. I'd like to see it come suited up already like they did with the v1 set. The extra parts, if any, could be fitted without compromising the shape of the box. TAMPO EVERYTHING!!!
  13. I can't even fathom what 1/32 scale would be like, but I know it would be larger than 1/48. Just as long as it's a magnified mold of the new 1/60 scale with the same tightness and poseability I'm all for bigger. And what EXO said...tampo everything and completely do away with a sticker sheet! I can only imagine what a big gargantuan Valk would look like next to that new huge SDF-1 coming!
  14. If I had it my way I'd like to see Yamato simply enlarge the new 1/60 to 1/48 scale. Now that would dope!!! Size and real estate be damned...the shear presence of the 1/48 scale can't be touched with a 10 foot pole!
  15. Surely nothing great here pic and pose wise, but I am still practicing with diffent lengths. Here's a couple.
  16. Hey, I'll be the first to admit I'm a 1/48 fiend, but these damn exclusives are driving me crazy! Heck it's hard enough as it is trying to keep up with the current 1/60's I want. I'm finally coming to grips with letting some Valks go to finance new ones, but damn it sure is hard to let go of my beloved 1/48's just to see another exclusive released. Break the mold already Yamato!!! Sheesh!!!
  17. Is this a joke or what? Last thing we need are more 1/48 exclusives
  18. I liked it too. Hella fun to watch and it wasn't too washed down. Even had a bit of an old feel from the cartoon in some instances. Looking forward to seeing it again as well as the sequel.
  19. You guys are nuts! I think we know what he meant though. Still funny as hell
  20. For most poses it is pretty obvious which lengths are being used. For those more complex poses please let us know which lengths are being used. For example: sm, sm, lg md, md, sm lg, lg, md I think you guys get the picture. Many thanks and keep the poses coming!
