Nah. I'll stick to the Arcadia one since it fits with the rest of my collection. It would be a different story if this one had missile firing parts or something else to differentiate it. I'll get the Destroids and any Zentradi from this line, if they are cheap.

Not everything promised during the Kickstarter has been released yet. Therefore, PB are obligated to do updates on the Kickstarter project page for the backers. Nothing strange at all.

The Orguss Valkyrie is planned to be released as part of the Robotech RPG Tactics game. At least it's something.

Changing from full version to cellphone version

I usually browse the forums on my Samsung Android phone. I was trying to read the presentation in a member's profile, but I had to switch to Full Version to be able to see it for some reason. Now I can't switch back to the Mobile Version. I've had this problem before, but I can't remember how I fixed it then. That "Change Theme" button is just not there, not on any of my phone's web browsers or in Firefox or Internet Explorer on my PC. It only says "Mark Community Read" and "Help" next to the RSS button. Logging out, removing cookies and logging back in doesn't help. What more could be done? -
There are improved instructions up on DriveThruRPG.com for free. The guardian mode mini is infamous as one of the hardest by now.

To settle an internet discussion: Did we ever see any other VF-1S in the original show except for Skull One? Someone thought he saw one for a brief second in one episode, but he did not know which one. I thought it would be easier to ask the pros than to look through the whole series again.

I saw it today and I was positively surprised. It pretty much does to the spy movie genre what Kickass did to the super hero genre.

If the wings are radiators, the wings on the new X-wing could actually be more efficient, at least in the vacuum of space. In space, the wings can only give away heat by infrared radiation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this radiation would mostly be released perpendicular to the surface of the wings. That means that much of the radiation released from the lower wings would hit the upper wings and be reabsorbed, and vice versa. I think the new wing configuration avoids this. Dissect how much you want, it's just a suggestion.

There was a Robotech: The New Generation cell phone game a couple of years ago. That was a schmup. There have been no official Robotech strategy digital game.

I decided not to wait anymore for HLJ, so I got it at NY. If I manage to avoid custom duty with them, it's only a 2300 yen difference anyway. What sucks is that I thought that I managed to get in my order at HLJ in the first five minutes it was open. But when I checked about ten minutes later, I had actually missed to finish the last order step... It may have made a difference.

I rewatched Frontier just a few months ago and cannot even remember that Alto's wingmen were named or had special paint jobs. Easy pass for me. But unfortunately, every VF-171 release have been easy passes for me... Why did the CF-171 have to be so crappy? It is the only variant I want, but I just can't justify buying a toy that will likely crumble to pieces.

I'm not sure I can justify buying all VF-1's again in a new scale, but the destroids and the regult interest me a lot, especially the Monster. I assume the Monster will also be about 1/100 scale? It may then be a tough choice between that and the X-Plus 1/72 vinyl toy in the end. I guess the Hi-Metal Monster may be cheaper and have a bit better articulation than the X-Plus. On the other hand, sometimes size matters...

The VF-27 "v.1.5" with Super Parts set was 20 000 yen, was it not? My guess is this will be minimum 20,000 too.

Damn, that looks nice! But how stable is the stand with multiple Valks? To me, it looks like it could easily tip, but I hope I'm wrong.

The color thing really confuses me... Did the König Monster actually have a different color in the movies than in the series? Is there any justification for a greener tint? I’m one of those that care for anime accuracy and what's "canon" (you always have to use that word loosely when talking about Macross).

As far as I've understood, it's the same as the old subbed releases of SDF Macross and I haven't heard anything about them being butchered. Have I missed something? No, it's an official, Amazon exclusive release.
