    Something I use to bring in some extra friction to tabs, joints and whatnot is adhesive putty. Like Blutac, but there are other brands and colors - most are white. There's even extra strong "earthquake proof" putty that I like. Just add a little bit and shape it thin to make a hole slightly tighter, a tab bigger and so one. But it's completely reversible unlike superglue, it's very easy to remove. Not suitable for all applications of course. I haven't tried it on my VF-2SS yet, but I will.

    I used NY, so I'm out of luck. I may try to make a new tire on my own. Otherwise I could take one from my Fairy VF-2SS when it comes out. Or I just buy a stand and display it in flight.

    Mine came today, but it unfortunatly got a QC error. It's missing the rubber tires on one of the back landing gear. Now I can't display it in fighter mode with the landing gears out which I had planned.

    Well, I didn't send in a submission because I was sure negative comments would be censored anyway. So, well, that's one aspect for the lack of negative submissions.

    But is it a model kit or a toy? I thought the one Yamato had in the works was a model.

    I avoid ordering from the US if I have the choice. It's just silly expensive compared to a lot of other countries. The problem is that there's no real low-price alternative, everything is just express, fully insured and trackable. Insurence and trackability is good when you buy something of value (but otherwise a bit unnecessary), but I'm almost never in such a hurry that I need to have the product in less than a week. I can easily wait for 4-5 weeks if needed.

    I rather have a VF-1D trainer to be honest. But then a VT-1 and a VE-1 would be next in line to take a place in my collection. I'd also like a VT-1C and Macross the First valks. Milk the mold Arcadia. But milk it RIGHT.

    As I've mentioned, the Delta 05 is maybe not technically my favourite scheme, but since it's the main character's and will likely be the most iconic valk of the series, it's the only sure buy for me. But I'm not sure if that is enough to add me to the list.

    ^ Only that the name Draken refers to "flygande drake", meaning kite. If it is meant as a Wagner reference, they got it wrong.

    Forever in fighter mode here too. Unless they ever release the FB2012 version, then the VF-X one will go to Battroid.

    The only quality issues I've noticed with my 0A and 0S have to do with the cockpit. That the pilot doesn't sit well in the seat is annoying, but worse is that I always have problem with the seat's flip back mechanism. On my A when I tried it, the flight control piece broke off and I had to glue it back on. Later with my 0S, the seat just did not budge and I was then obviously afraid to use too much force. :-/

    I hope we get different designations. It makes it easier to distinguish the models and it feels more grounded in reality. Although, with that many variants in so short time since the protype YF-30, I wonder if most if not all of the Delta squadron valks aren't custom jobs.

    Due to space limitation and the strong suspicion that I will not enjoy Delta that much, I've decided to buy only two each of the main valks. Going by colors, the blue and red VF-31 (Delta 5?) in all the pics is growing on me. I also like the grey (Delta 1, right?) and the green. A yellow one would be a novelty, but I'm not sure I want a recon variant as my only other one. But character matters to me, and I get that this Mirage character (whoever that was, it was so damn many characters introduced in that messy episode) may end up be very important, maybe even part of the main love triangle... But I just don't like her purple valk - purple is usually reserved for the bad guys in Macross. That's a bit of a dilemma. But since the characters seem to mostly be generic anime clichés again, maybe the character angle will not be that important to me in the end. I have to see more of the show and also consider what kind of packs and what not is introduced before I make any final decision.

    I fear that the constant misspelling of Walküre will lead to a lot of English-speaking fans pronouncing it "Wal-koo-re"... Those are umlauts, not silent rock dots. I thought the Japanese voice actors actually did a relatively good job pronouncing it in most places. On a similar note, Draken is supposed to be pronounced more like "drah-ken". Not "drey-ken" and certainly not "drack-en". Also, the "-en" suffix is a definite article in Swedish, so writing "the Draken" is like putting two "the" in a row. It just kind of feels strange to me as a Swede.

    RedWolf: Yes, Macross II came off as too derivative. But it's still in my opinion the sequel that has come closest in finding the feel and tone of SDF Macross and DYRL. Macross II had most of the elements that made the previous installments great, it just did a poor job with them. The main failing was yet again the mediocre character drama. Delta did not start out convincing on that front either, but we'll see in the end.

    I'm just so disappointed. Frontier, FB7, M30... and now Delta. It just feels like a downward spiral and we get further and further away from what made the original series the masterful classic it is. What happened with having believable characters that you care for? Recently, we only seem to get tired anime clichés. Freyja was just so annoying throughout the whole episode, even worse than the M30 girls... and her meeting with Hayate was boring. Alright, I will not get any depth out of this. Fine. But Frontier was saved by great mecha action and good music, so I will give it a few more episodes. Although I'm not sold on the new Zentradi designs (and I think it needs an explanation why we haven't seen any of them before), the valk action was what you would expect by now. The first Walküre song was forgettable and the second did not reach Frontier standards, but that's just two songs so far. The magical girl aspect felt jarring as expected and I really hope it gets downplayed later on, but I know it likely won't.

    The VF-1 was updated in DYRL and in some Mac II prequel too.

    Jehan Agrama actually did hands-on work on Robotech as compared to his father. So for the sake of the fans, one could hope it means he will focus a bit more on that part of the business.
