So I'm just wondering if the spelling "Lil'Draken" has ever been used in an official Macross Delta work, making it canon? Otherwise, I'm sure it should be transliterated as Lilldraken instead, which was the inofficial name of the Saab testbed aircraft that would be developed into Draken. "Lil'Draken" seems to be an ugly Americanization to me.

This whole show was a trainwreck. The story felt like the worst parts of Macross 7 was crammed into a watered-down version of Macross Frontier, sprinkled with tired, reused ideas from Macross 30. Sure, all Macross shows and movies have had some flaws, but I was able to forgive most of them. But in Delta, bad ideas and bad execution of nearly good ideas were everywhere... Without the Macross name stuck on, I could disregard Delta as just another crappy anime show. But under that brand it's just inexcusable. Such a disappointment... I still don't get the praise the first half tends to get. Yes, it was a bit tighter and more stuff was happening than in the second half, but the it was still plagued with most of the same flaws. I remember all the nonsensical plot points, like how Var syndrome was triggered by magical baking soda... In the end, I am sure I will never see this show again - a verdict I have only given to FB7 among the Macross productions before - and I will try my best to forget that this story was ever was part of the franchise. -
I will probably settle with the most iconic Valks - one VF-31J and one SV-262Hs. I don't feel enough for the series to justify anymore.

Cool! I bought the Revoltech recently, which was a disappointment (I should have waited...) I think I'll get this one instead.

I wasn't that overwhelmed by the show. It really was breathing quality through and through, but I think they gave away too much of the mystery early on and it became less creepy and a bit predictable as a result. I did enjoy the nostalgia factor, but it could have been a bit more original too.

Are we talking about "a mold" as the finished product or the physical production mold? Because can't one single toy be made with several different molds? Metal parts and plastic should at least be molded separately. Correct me if I'm wrong. How was Mr. K's phrasing exactly?

Also, SDFM and DYRL? had Noboru Ishiguro on board and it shows. Kawamori has the ability to set up the foundation for great stories, but I think he isn't necessarily the greatest of story tellers himself. -
I accidentally ordered twice before it order stopped again. I quickly canceled the second order, so it might come up again in the future. Just want to give a heads up.

Jenius: It's has more to do with when it's such an important occasion and so much money involved, it needs to be perfect. Also, the difference in paint apps are barely noticeable, but the DYRL? style pilot figure is the real deal breaker.

If Arcadia just could reissue the TV version. It would have been the perfect present for my brother's 30th birthday. Unfortunately, he doesn't care about DYRL? at all...

I recently bought a Takara Soundwave from Mandarake. I paid through the roof for it, but I just couldn't settle for yellow eyes which would have been cheeper and now even more so. So I don't actually feel burned. The good thing with this re-release for me is that it may be possible to find some of the casettes loose for a not ridiculous price. -
Someone told me it was spelled Vár in the official subs. Or could it be Vår? Both are names of a Norse goddess and would fit the theme. The only meaning of Vär I could find is that it's a word for weather in some parts of Sweden.Any screenshots of the subs that could settle this?

I don't get the hate for this movie. rewatched the first two movies prior to see the remake, and I must say that the new one is better. The old ones just has not aged well and wasn't funny to me anymore. The new one gave me a few good laughs at least. Seeing everyday women being allowed to be heroes without wearing skimpy outfits WAS a very welcome change from most Hollywood movies. And I liked that they stuck to the concept of ghosts and the paranormal meets technology. I never liked how the GHOSTbusters ended up fighting an ancient god or a magician and not ghosts. The Anti-Ghostbuster was a very fitting concept for a villain.

Thanks! So they made the scale larger and incresed the quality, yet they still sell the figures under the name of a dead line...? No wonder I have completly missed this. And not surprising, I'm way too late for the party. -

So I've heard a lot of good things about the Metal Build line and it has grabbed my attention, but none of the mobile suits released yet have really interested me. Why are they only releasing stuff from 00 and CE? Surely, at least some UC stuff would sell well? -
Had to pay 500 yen extra for shipping of the standalone SAP from NY. :/ Oh well, it's not the end of the world. Too bad all these release dates has been a mess as I could have combined the order with something else, like Nexx.
