What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

The Regults should have been white, not grey. And no visible metal everywhere... I could also argue the chosen shade of blue, but that's nowhere near Arcadia levels of being off the mark, so I give it a pass. But I'm still worried about the Spartan.

Rereleasing Art 1-3 with some new content is exactly what they have talked about doing for some time now. This is probably it. -

I loved the first season of Ajin. I felt that season 2 ended up a bit more formulaic, it didn't reveal enogh answers to the major mysteries for my liking and it had a stupid plot twist ending that I fear will just make the show tread waters next season. But overall, the show is still great. Quite a bit different in tone from Kuromukuro, though -
The screen protector went on pretty easy. It did not come with a microcloth, but instead there was tape pieces that one was supposed to use to remove dust from the screen before application. It went quite alright. Could easily remove all bubbles by squeezing them out afterwards, but the protector seems to have had some small scratches out of the package, unfortunately. I never powered up the console before applying the protector, so it's hard to say if it changes the colors. I don't notice anything strange at least.

I mean this one. May be Europe only, I dunno. It was the only one I could find locally on day one. I've seen a third party screen protector online that's not bundled with anything, but my local store wouldn't get it before mid-March for some stupid reason. That one was also some kind of plastic.

I've only used a plastic one (haven't even seen glass ones being sold in my region). I got the official one that came with a case. Good enough for me, I won't use it much in portable mode.

I think it's pretty good so far. I don't like holding the Joy-cons when they are connected to the grip (they're just so small and I think the holding angles are strange), but it's okay when I hold them loose. I tried putting on the Joy-con side fillers with the straps to fill out the rough connector surfaces, but it's clear those are only meant to be there when one hold the Joy-cons individually and sideways. I will definitely be investing in a Pro Controller in a near future.

Yeah, I was excited first, but that's way too pricey for me. That sucks. :/

Crowdfunding, eh? Do anyone know if there's any chance for fans outside of Japan to help out? (Also, thank goodness that character is not part of the M23 remake.)

THIS. It's not like BW don't have options in dealing with the legal problems. Either cooperate with HG (which HG have said that they are willing to do) or try to win back the trademarks. There should be in their own interest to open up to a bigger market. As fans, I think we should put more pressure on BW to actually start caring about us. We shouldn't be punished because they made a bad business decision in the '80s and gave away the international distribution rights to Tatsunoko.

So this is basically like your average garage resin kit, which already tends to be quite expensive. The difference is that this is an official product, so the price also has to cover the licensing fee. And I imagine that since it's made by an actual company in some kind of factory setting and not a garage, there's all sorts of overhead and other costs involved. My point is that I can understand why it's so expensive. Also, shouldn't this thread be moved to the Model kits sub-forum?

Hmm... I had preferred an Ishkick or a Nikick before the CF. I'm not really that interested in the CF, but I suppose that I need to continue to support the line to get what I want.

I'm sure it's been posted somewhere else. No, it has nothing to do with the movie. Still cool.

Why is everyone talking as if Frank Agrama is still in charge at HG? He's not and hasn't been for a couple of years. His kids have taken over, in particular his daughter Jehan.

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
Lorindor replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
I'm with Marzan. If I'm not mistaken, Kawamori has said that he struggled to come up with the concept of Delta and it took also a long time to get it greenlighted with the production committee. I doubt they've got a completely new concept ready already. Also, just prepairing all the animation assets and other production details takes a good while. My guess is therefore that the announced movies are just Delta recap movies released as promotion before the series, which will be a Delta sequel. I can be wrong, and I surely hope we get something new and original instead, but I keep my expectations down. -
New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
Lorindor replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
I have a dreadful feeling that this new series will be something like Macross Delta S2. Normally, I would be geeked out by this kind of news, but there's no enthusiasm from me at all. -
I'm 27. At least you older guys probably have secured a stable economy now to support your collection. I'm still a few steps from being fully comfortable with the costs of this hobby. And if Kawamori thinks he made Delta for me, he's sorely mistaken...

I skipped on the VF-31F and I'm glad I didn't have to experience this preorder madness. Congratulations to all who could get one.

Got one at HLJ, but will wait to get one at NY instead if I can.

I got mine yesterday and I transformed it to battroid right away. I like it. Easy transformation as compared to the VF-25 family. I agree with most criticism though; that canopy doesn't look good, for example. I haven't done any poses yet, but the shoulder doesn't seem to be that flexible. Let's see how that goes.
