Amazing! I had not heard that dub in decades and I still remember all the voices and phrases. I remember renting Clash from Blockbuster. At the end, when Bodolza ship is destroyed, it was cut and the Hikaru scene was omitted. I thought he was dead because of the blast. After the defeat of Bodolza, Misa and Claudia look at each other in apparent sadness. I really thought Hikaru died. Then Minmay and Misa smile at each other and I said What the f..ck? Nice Kamikaxe Macross ending hahaha.

I think Fortress is right. That is how if stands from the initials SDF-1 which is Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. -
That Gobot will look great next to a VF-1D.

Finally got the LE DYRL pack. I only had the FX bootleg of the movie and I thought it was impressive. So, imagine how I felt when I put the Blu-ray. I only watched a couple of scenes, so far the movie looks fantastic, some blurry scenes here and there but the quality of the image is outstanding. The 5.1 surround is amazing too. You can hear all sound effects better and the Ai Oboete Imasu ka song is pure gold. Macross fans should be very happy with this release despite the minor censored and blurry scenes. Here is my film strip. Got a nice one, worth a wallpaper:

Finally, after more than a year released, got a Yamato Fire Valkyrie from HKCollectibles. What a deal! Cheapest price I've seen (US$168). I got a shipping discount somehow (guess they are trying to hook me up with the store) and the total I paid was US$186 reaching my house in only 5 days! (Regular air mail from HK to South America) It's been a while since I bought a new valk and this Fire Valk is bomba!. Beautiful craftmanship, it shines really nice. This is a nice preview of how the next YF-19 will look. Even if you are not a fan of Macross 7, you must get this one before is gone. I think this is the second reissue and won't be there anymore when it sells out. My budget is short for more valks this year, but I will definitely buy the other VF-19s when they get on sale next year.

Well, I won Figurarts Sheryl for US$30 ( with shipping) on Ebay. I was surprised to be the only one who bid. I think these Figurarts look good and hope they look better in person. Planning to buy Ranka to complete the set. Amiami is selling them for a similar price.

I had multiples valks from all the Macross series but since the new ones have become very expensive, I sold most of them and focused only on the main characters too.

I finally got the 1/60 Fire Valkyrie. Not from HLJ though. Paid US$186 shipping included from HKCollectibles. Saved $100 of retail price. With this trend, I am getting used to buy a valkyrie a year after released. Let's see if I can wait more than a year for the VF -4G.

Hope Yamato makes one with the 1J head. I have the VF-X and it also comes with the 1A head and don't have any 1/60 VF-1J . HLJ still has some Cavaliers in stock but it is confirmed that these don't come with option parts even though it says "with option parts" http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00230

Very much tempted to finally get the Fire Valkyrie! Is HK Collectibles a reliable store? How much was it on HLJ Macross sale? I was waiting for another sale discount.

I also had two 1.0 Ozmas, one naked and one with armor. As the renewals were announced, I sold them right away. Never thought the renewals were going to be so limited and hard to get. Instead of waiting for a bargain price, I am now waiting for a reissue because prices for these toys have become absurd. All new 1/60 valks have exceeded reasonable price. An Ozma and the Yamato VF-4 are going to be my last valks until a new YF-19 is made.

I think Alto and Ozma renewals will be re-issued probably next year, just like the Durandal. But, as the Durandal, they will also be difficult to get again. I got lucky getting the VF-25G thanks to a MW member who gave the heads up about HLJ opening pre-order. I don't think that one and Luca (if released) won't be reissued. I will wait for the Ozma reissue, but if I'm not lucky, I will trade my soon to come VF-25G.

If you were able to checkout and if it shows on your open order list, then you have one reserved. I really don't want this VF-25G, but it will probably take a long time before we get an Ozma reissue. So in the meantime, I will take any renewal at a decent price.

WTF! To mute the beautiful BGM before singing is absurd. Just like the "Nooo" Vader scream on ROTJ. Why manipulating the movie? Next time, leave it as it is and do the edits for yourself Kawamori.

Thanks a bunch for the pictures. The extras that come on the boxset are beautiful. I was regreting buying the LE instead of the regular single BD but now, I feel that it will be a highly collectable pack. Now i see the blurry scenes in some of the pictures. A bit dissapointed but I won't complain having only a miserable bootleg DYRL DVD.

Sad to hear about the blurry scenes in almost all the movie. I was expecting the best quality being a blu-ray disc. -
I am in the same spot. I can either cancel my LE order or buying both, and sell the LE later on. I want to keep the LE blurays intact for a future sale.
