I just bought one too. Perhaps I did it to feel proud of me, not paying the stupid NY inflated price. (but I did have to sell that one when it arrives)

I got into the page and kept pressing the add to cart button. After several attempts, I got a notice saying that I can't purchase more than one. I still can't access my account, so I don't know if I secured one.

Same feeling, sold my v.1 with the poster. Boring design and color, and MF movies sucked.Waiting for my VF-171 and I am done with MF.

Yeahh! I was asking for some fan pics (and good ones too) The VF-17 was on the bottom of my list for favorites. Did not like the triangular and boring scheme. But now, it is an amazing twist. It looks so damn nice with the markings and sleek shape. Can't wait.

I just watched the movie and I did not like it. Some parts were like parodies from MTV movie awards. And if you watched series from the 80s, you will see some Knight Rider, A-team, Miami Vice, even Rambo II, Beverly Hills cop and Star Wars scenes mixed together. Iron Man went too "extremis", it may have the Spiderman 3 feeling. Some people liked it and others hated it. In my case, I like Spiderman 3 more than Iron Man 3. I will not see this movie twice that is for sure, didn't even laugh at the funny moments. My expectations were too high considering it is Iron Man and RDJ. But in my opinion, Iron Man jumped the shark on this one. Bad way to finish the trilogy.

I am in the same boat. I almost lost my pre-order from NY but even after paying late, my order went through.Now this bird is on the way and can't wait to get it.

I got a payment request from NY two weeks ago. They told me to pay before the 24th or I will lose my account and all previous pre-orders.The VF-171 was not ready for shipping I guess, as I got no cancellation from them. To be safe, I paid a few minutes ago.

I was about to lose my pre-order from NY. With the shipping notice delay, it gave me the extra days to complete payment. Glad I did not skip this bird, looks so nice in any mode.

I am minutes away from losing my pre-order from NY. I bought Hot Toys Black Widow a week ago and don't have the funds for the VF-171. Hope it will be still around to buy it later.

Ok, is it really worth it to convert my pre-order? I have the Frontier VF-17 for US$182 on NY The price when I pre-order it, was JPY17,000, I guess. If I pay with paypal, with its bs currency exchange and comission, how much do I save?

I rarely see a Macross toy without the BW label. Only bootlegs did not have it. But with Saint Seiya myth cloth toys, it does happen. There are some that come with the Toei label and others don't.

I think there are differences but are minimal. Maybe a slight discoloration or a part not well glued, goes to retailers in Hong Kong. And those toys usually don't have the little hologram sticker from Big West, Toei, or other companies. I bought an Ultraman diecast car from Japan and it had the Tsuburaya sticker on it. Months later, I found the same toy in Hong kong at half the price but without the aprooved license sticker. I bought several of those. The toys looked allright except for some parts not well aligned and some slight marks on the paint job.

Wow! First time I see this type of 1/55. Can you take a picture of the sticker sheet and the brand mark on the toy?

I got one from Amiami! Just kidding My internet is so slow, it would've been a miracle to even click on the add to cart button. My last chance is HLJ. Not at the best price, but I always manage to get one from them.
