VFTF-1 I mostly agree with what you posted, I also think Ranka symbolizes a missing aspect of Sheryl and vice versa. I also think we may see a reversal in inspiration soon, Ranka is inspired by Sheryl but I think Once Ranka's songs start becoming more "popular" (for lack of a better word) Sheryl will begin to sing more from the heart and less "pop"....that's just a hunch.

M+ is a bit different in a few ways, first, the triangle consists of 3 adults, second, they all know each other from their youth. What I find interesting is Myung choose Guld 7 years earlier but secretly wanted to be with Isamu more. And in the end Myung and Isamu are together and Guld ends up as space debris orbiting Eden! Sucks to be him, I'd rather end up like Minmay or Mao....alone but alive.

I like the idea of Omza's passing bringing Alto and Cathy closer, but that's too similar to SDFM. Alto & Sheryl Nome And poor adorable Ranka Lee will transcend to a "higher" purpose...but alone, like Minmay and Mao. Just my hunch
