Saw the 2 DX figures in person today (albeit in a very poorly lit display) and they do look much better than in photos. The glossy plastic parts look alright and not as cheap looking as in most photos I've seen. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on one's POV), they're still not nice enough to justify the ridiculously inflated prices the DXs are going for at the moment. That and the whole slew of perceived "flaws" of the figure's design (shopping cart landing gear, under-scaled glued in pilot etc.).

The web shop was the only way to get Alto's super pack but they will probably be some available aftermarket at high prices.

The best way would be to check with the retailer you're ordering from since there's no obvious way of telling otherwise.

Everyone's been hoping the shoulders have been fixed on the reissue Roy 1S (and subsequent v2 1/60 VF-1s). I don't think there is any way to tell if your 1S Roy is a first production run or reissue unless you check with your retailer. Also, we don't know for sure if Yamato have actually done any fixing but so far, only the Roy 1S (1st run) and one isolated case of 1A have reported shoulder breakage. The 1J and Hikaru 1S have been problem free so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when mine comes it will be problem free.

Yes. The launch arm display stand is a seperate item that's being reissued this month. No news of the fold booster and fast pack set being reissued at the moment.

Yup, they're the same for the four main character variants (S, F, G and RVF) except for the trim color highlights.

None of those bells and whistles except the micro missile launcher and fast pack open up to reveal the inner details.

The S.M.S. display stand will be packed with the DX VF-25G and RVF-25 and also the web shop exclusive VF-25F super pack. The stand is adjustable for all 3 modes but appears to be non-articulated for various flying/mid air poses.

April. I'd like to see more pics of the figure before pre-ordering. Hopefully the Macross kite logos and the insginia on the heat shield will be tampoed on.

Few have the Hikaru 1S at the moment. Most who have ordered should be getting theirs by the end of the month. No complaints of shoulder breakages at the moment but it's still too early to tell until more people get their hands on it. The v2 1/60 VF-1 series figures come with the kite and skull insignias tampoed on except on the super/strike packs.

That's the 1/72 PLAMO box art.

Looks like a mod to me. The bit below the knee cap appears to have been carved out to allow the knee to bend forward more. Gerwalk mode is hugely improved now that the nose can dip.

The head lasers look awful in every single photo we've seen.
