Emerald Force VF-19's were a light shade of blue in the anime but since Yamato made the 19S a darker shade, I guess people expected the 19F to be the same. I'm liking the head sculpt more now. Especially when viewed from an angle like in the third pic. The face looks very Patlabor-ish.

Nah. The yellow on the S looks better. More visually striking. The F variant head also looks too big and round without any lasers on the side and the face too bare without a chin/jaw piece. Well.. to each his own.

That's what Yamato did with the initial release of the VF-1 Armor Pack. Bundled mass release, exclusive stand alone Armor Pack (with missile launch effect parts). The stand alone Armor Pack was mass released sans effect parts much later.

The 17D and 17 Super Pack were announced as Fall releases at Wonderfest. Now they've ended up as a bundle, also with a Fall release planned. No news if there's also going to be a Super Pack stand alone for the 17S. Perhaps a web shop exclusive?

They look white in most pics except the promo poster from Wonderfest in the opening post of this thread. I think the stripes are a very light blue that doesn't show up well in photos.

The head design in the poster is the same as the one which was hotly debated here some months back. I wonder if Yamato took note of the feedback Graham compiled and improved the sculpt on the final version.

As beautiful as the valk looks, the color scheme will probably disappoint a few. It's not going to be in Hikaru's FB2012 colors.

Did you compress the handguard (front underside) of the gunpod? Doing so gives the gunpod sufficient clearance off the ground in fighter mode.

Yup, the EX has a split visor while the CF's is single.
