    Shogo Hasui has a New Year's Tweet teasing MP Wheeljack. I guess it's safe to say Jacky's his.

    You have the MP designers mixed up. To clarify: Hironori Kobayshi designed MP-1 thru MP-9. His original MP-3 Starscream design was re-worked by Kawamori to the eventual design. Shogo Hasui took over with MP-10. He has since designed all MP releases thru to MP-19, MP-12G and MP-13B. I am also assuming he undid Kawamori's revisions to bring MP-3 closer to the original Kobayashi design for MP-11. There is no indication so far if MP Wheeljack is Hasui's or Kobayashi's design. Hisashi Yuki is handling the MP Star Saber design.

    Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive YF-29 Isamu Super Parts announced. From this month's Figure King magazine. Can't quite make out the details from the pic but it looks like a May 2014 release.

    Ah, I spy the DX YF-30 on the left. What I want to know is if it will be regular release or Tamashii web shop exclusive.

    The tax increase won't affect non-Japanese residents for regular release items but in the case of web exclusives, it will. Exclusives like the super/armor parts are only available to Japanese residents who will be charged the 8% tax. We are buying these "second hand" from them (NY, AE etc) so the tax will be included.

    Yes it will be a web shop exclusive. The last line in the article (on the left) says "Tamashii Web Shop Sales Item".

    Cancelled my Amiami pre-order for the VF-25A. Just didn't seem like a necessary purchase. I'll save the funds for an Ozma reissue or the Isamu 29.

    HS reduces their discount for non pre-order items. There's a pre-order discount price and after release price. The VF-25A will be about 13,000 plus yen after release. Since HS's shipping tends to be higher than HLJ for the same items, you might end up paying the same amount.

    I believe the logos are all waterslides and not tampographs. The out of box toy will look like the bare sample in Reïvaj's earlier post.

    Since they've dubbed it "Next Generation", I wonder if it's a continuation of the movie or TV timeline and this labor we're seeing is not the original Ingram but a newer model. Note the stun stick/baton is now stored on the side of the shield instead of under it.

    HLJ did not increase the price of the VF-25F renewal from 13,300 yen to 14,000yen. When a product sells out and goes to "Order Stop" or "Discontinued" status, the discounted price is no longer shown on the product page. The full MSRP price is shown instead.
