The broken wings might be due to how the toys are packed in the factory. I'm thinking the wing was probably not sitting right in the tray (the wing might have slipped out of the wing glove) when the factory worker slammed the clamshell down, causing the break.

Private warehouse is virtual. They just block off stock in their inventory database for you. They don't physically store stuff away under your name. If HLJ are willing to check it for you, it will be when you request shipping. That's when they physically pull stuff out of their warehouse to pack.

Not in April, what with the start of the new financial year and all. Closing of old accounts and setting up new ones etc going on today. They will open the pre-orders a little later.Same thing happened with last year's Alto reissue (also a July release), the pre-order was on 3 or 4 April iirc.

I've asked to cancel at Amiami before. They allowed it but did warn me against doing it too frequently.

Pre-orders usually open 3 months before the release date, so at the start of next month.

I'd say about 10 minutes. Maybe longer. It could have been up for a while before it was spotted by Saitou and myself.

I cancelled my pre-order for Michael's Tornado Pack. I like having my 25G in prone firing pose and I don't think the figure can manage the weight on the wings in that position.

Apparently, they can't change order details. You will need to ask for cancellation and re-order to change new shipping methods, split items etc. If the item in the order you want amended is sold out or the price has increased, then you're out of luck.
