The gunpod won't be able to mount in fighter mode.

I'm pretty certain the radome and fin are going to be removeable. It's best to remove them before transformation and replace them after.

The backpack sits far out the back because the fin is between the back and the wings. I wonder if the whole thing pegs together securely or just sits there loosely.

Same here. Love the dark grey. Photos make it look bad but it actually is nice in hand.

Seeing as how the turret hinge cuts right through the skull insignia, the shield would have been a much better place for the design.

No. Bandai's collectors toy lines (Chogokins, Figuarts etc.) all come under the Tamashii Nations banner.

You forgot to rotate the upper intake/back of the hip backards.EDIT: Shield is the wrong way around too.

All signs point to regular mass release. There's no Tamashii Webshop logo on the display card.
