  1. Darn. I was hoping that there was some online retailer that somehow still had some stock left. I knew I should've sucked it up and bought it when it first came out. MOSPEADA was just too influential a cartoon for me when I was a kid... can't say no.
  2. Ok, after reading this thread for weeks... planning on saving my money for the various MOSPEADAs... watching Genesis Climber MOSPEADA on dvd... I took the plunge and ordered an alpha and a beta. I say alpha and beta, since I ordered them from Robotech.com. I ordered the Shadow Alpha and the Blue Beta. I plan on getting the Shadow Beta too, when it comes out. Meanwhile, I guess it's time to start searching for the Blue Alpha to match. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find one? It's Toynami, right? So a Toynami one will fit, but if I wanted the Robotech-labeled one, is Robotech.com (or possibly eBay) the only place to get it, or does anyone else resell Robotech items? Thanks.
  3. Does that mean no Garland E=X (sorry if I'm remembering the name incorrectly)?
  4. Which Revoltechs are you talking about? The busou shinki stuff? What is the figma stuff? I'm VERY tempted to get the metallic Yamato motoslaves, since I don't have any BGC figures, though I think they're identical, just different colors (unlike MOSPEADA where we have actual different designs). You'd recommend against the Yamato stuff though?
  5. Can anyone figure anything out about what these are? Names that I can google elsewhere? Are they micro-man related somehow? The google translation into English is completely useless. http://micro100wars.blog114.fc2.com/blog-entry-396.html
  6. There may be a lot wrong here, as this is the site using the old non-Beagle picture for Stig/Scott too. However, as they're priced a full $50 less than anyone else... worth keeping an eye on.
  7. http://www.toywiz.us/search.php?search=rob...ew&section= Scott in January, Lancer in March, Rand in May. So, are you buying all of the Bubblgegum Crisis motoslaves?
  8. I forget which site I saw it on last week, but one of them, when you search for "MOSPEADA" shows the Stick one shipping in June, then I think the Ray one in March, and Yellow in June, if I remember correctly. No pictures though.
  9. Ok, I get your Legioss vs. Alpha point. The point I'm trying to make is I'm seeing Toynami ones that aren't in Robotech-labelled boxes. Thought they were Toynami and Aoshima.
  10. I'm seeing Toynami Alpha's on eBay for around $60-70, but only one Robotech one for $160.
  11. That's good to know. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a cheap bastard when it comes to these things. Too many regular household and family expenses, don't spend a lot of money on myself, so have trouble justifying spending a lot on, well, frankly, what is a toy that I will mostly display, rarely playing with.
  12. Gorgeous. Thank you. The blue legioss are sold out, so my second choice is a dark, but I wanted to get one to match whatever tread I end up getting later, so wanted to make sure it would be available at some point. I know, I feel the need for all color of MOSPEADA (not that I've bought any yet), but am content with one color of legioss/tread. Thanks again.
  13. I thought it was fine. I rewatched the original this weekend, and think the original is a better movie as far as acting and directing goes, as well as preferring the characterization of Klaatu in the original, but I will say that I went into seeing the new one with really low expectations (the reviews on it were terrible) and was pleasantly surprised. Some nice nods to the original, a more complicated story, maybe more interesting, though it did seem to rely on special effects more than characterization. It's just a different movie. It is interested that it says that it is based on the screenplay written for the first movie, as opposed to being based on the story that that screenplay was based on. *** Minor Spoiler *** Really, my only complaint is that they never say "klaatu barada nicto"
  14. I'm not really a stickler for being "anime-accurate" but, looking at this pics, isn't the Tread supposed to be a lot bigger relative to the Legioss?
  15. I see the older reply. Don't know how I missed it. Looked for it, didn't see it, though maybe the question somehow never got posted. Thanks again.
  16. Do you know if it was Toynami who had it?
  17. Anyone know if there is going to be a Dark Tread/Shadow Beta?
  18. Does anyone know if they're (Toynami, that is) planning on making a Shadow Beta, or just the Blue, Green, and Red? Thanks.
  19. While the Beagle MOSPEADA does look like it's going to be pretty good, the issue for me isn't so much the fact that it's $200 for one toy... it's that it will be $600 for Stig/Scott + Yellow/Lancer + Shinobu/Sue. Sadly, I know myself well enough to know I will want all three. And if they do Ray/Rand and Fuke/Rook one... $1000.
  20. And another: http://basil0619.hp.infoseek.co.jp/zaboeger.htm
  21. Here's another one off the same site: http://basil0619.hp.infoseek.co.jp/taurus.htm
  22. That's pretty cool. I like it. Thanks for adding that. Do you know if that's for sale anywhere? BTW, stuff that is not from anime is 100% fine. I'm not trying to restrict this to anime, but rather have it be any variable bikes from anywhere out there at all. Thanks again.
  23. Is Aoshima still another company making Legioss/Alphas?
