  1. Anyone know where I can find a BitTorrent of the second Gall Force movie? I've got the 1st and 3rd, but everywhere I look for the second, it's either sites that just plain don't have it (anymore anyway) or broken links. Thanks.
  2. Nice. All very cool stuff. Unfortunately, still not what I had in mind. I'm going to look for it some more, then post it here. As for the Star Wars stuff, very cool, but my son is into the newer stuff (the prequel movies), as opposed to the original trilogy that I grew up on. EDIT: Just looked, thought maybe it was in the MOSPEADA thread, but I can't find it. It was some link to pics from a recent toy show.
  3. Those are very cool, but not the ones I had in mind. The ones I saw were of the sort of support ships from the original Macross, the blue and white ones. Specifically, I think there was one of those ones with the long pole-like sensor thing on it. Probably doesn't help much.
  4. I love the Hasbro Titanium Series tiny little ships. I know they make Star Wars, Transformers, Spider-Man, Indiana Jones, and Battlestar Galactica, though I only collect the Battlestar Galactica ones, and have bought a few of the Star Wars and Transformers ones for my son. Anyway, I was thinking how fantastic it would be to have some anime ones like these, specifically of the many very cool ships (in my opinion) from MOSPEADA. I'm sure there would be a huge market for Gundam ones too, though I'm personally not into Gundam. What do other people think? Also, I saw in some recent pics from some toy show, maybe Winterfest, in Japan what looked like that Titanium Series-like (meaning size and basic design) ships from Macross, but can't find the link now. Anyone have any info on these? Thanks.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if the red and green Alphas were both on backorder. They probably just don't list it on the site because they know that people are less likely to buy the red and upcoming green Betas if they can't get a matching Alpha. I also don't know how any Alphas can be on backorder, since Toynami has said that they've made all they're going to make of the previous releases and don't intend to produce any more.
  6. I don't suppose there was ever a Gundam that transformed into a motorcycle? If not, then I'm just not interested in owning one.
  7. The Aoshima to Yamato comparisons, both size and details, are what I would love to see. Looking forward to more pics.
  8. Very cool. Now, if I only had some Invid figures I might not feel so ripped off by my CMs. Love the pic though.
  9. My experience has generally been: 1) Order confirmation the same day 2) Shipping confirmation 3-10 days later 3) Shipping has taken 10 days everytime, from California to Massachusetts.
  10. And the crazy thing is, the Aoshima costs more...
  11. I think the Ateliers are a (claimed) 1/12th scale. The Yamatos claim 1/15th, but are really 1/18th.
  12. Nice pics! I still haven't decided if I'm getting the other three motoslaves. They're starting to be available cheaper and cheaper, but I love my metallic Priss and motoslave and would rather get the others in metallic too, if they ever come out with it.
  13. I don't know about the doesn't suck by today's standards, but definitely at the time it was pretty good. By today's standards, though, I think you need something more like Heroes or the X-Men movies, rather than this. Still fun to see this old stuff... and you know I love anything with motorcycles in it.
  14. Can we add a poll to this thread? Who prefers giant robots (i.e. Gundams, Mazinger, Valkyries, etc.) and who prefers power armors (Maddox-01, MOSPEADA, Megazone 23, etc.)?
  15. Let's kind of do one of those where you lean up, almost standing, but your butt's still on the seat, ok? At least until we find out if they had anything to do with it or not.
  16. You're probably right.
  17. Well, if it's Dr. Movie, we have to temper an ovations with, you know, what they did on Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles...
  18. Sankaku Complex? Got a link? Edit: Nevermind, Googled it and found it. More Editing: Considering how EXTREMELY political the manga is, it seems only right to have that extend into the anime as well.
  19. Yeah, it's Poland. That's actually why I picked it up, since it's one of a handful of other languages I speak.
  20. I own Avalon, and like it a lot, but it's probably a little slow for a lot of people. Haven't listened to the podcast yet.
  21. I paid about $50 each, when you figure in shipping. Where did you find your's for cheaper? Most places I was seeing them selling for $50-60, plus shipping.
  22. I had similar comments above. My Shinobou is terrible. My Dark Stick is better, but still no fun. Just transformed it once, and now it goes on display. I haven't opened my Dark Ray yet. Basically, if I hadn't gotten all three of these in one package, I probably would've never bought another CMs ride armor after opening that first one. As it stands, I've decided to make myself feel better by saying I'll collect the black and white ride armors from CMs and Megahouse, but except for those, all my money will have to go for the Beagles/Toynami's. Absolutely cannot understand the appeal of CMs, other than a scale that matches lots of other action figures. Now I would definitely not buy the two-pack of green MOSPEADA soldiers for $50, or the Col. Johnathan figure, or any other CMs. The only thing I might still get is the Dark Legioss Drone.
  23. Thanks again. Got the torrents going right now... slowly... Now, I'm assuming there were never any toys of any of these, unlike with War Within?
  24. Thanks. That's the WWII series I meant. Unfortunately that site only shows covers, no interiors. I'll have to look for a bittorrent.
  25. As much as I love BSG, I thought this was an idiotic idea when I heard about it. About a month ago or so, on SciFi, they put up a few minutes (like 2 or 3, I think) clip from the first episode. It's probably still on there. It actually looks pretty good. Actually kind of looking forward to it.
