Are you sure? If so, great. As usual jenius, thanks. You're a wealth of info, especially for us MOSPEADA toy fans, lol.

I know other online retailers tend to state flat out that they don't bill you until they are ready to ship, but since Robotech.com doesn't make a point of mentioning it, I kind of suspect they like to sit on your money for a couple months... Guess I need to go through my bank records and see when they billed me on my previous orders from them.

I LOVE the motoslave in that first pic. Always wished someone would make a toy or model of it, but no one has ever gone beyond the first Hurrican I motoslaves, at least that I've ever been able to find.

I preordered the Scott/Stick Cyclone/MOSPEADA of the Toynami release of the Beagle through Robotech.com, and am now considering ordering the Rand/Ray one. Anyone here happen to know if Robotech.com bills you when you place the preorder, or not until it ships? I emailed their preorder department this question a full week ago but, surprise surprise, no answer yet.

You know, I love Artmic's stuff. Love it. I downloaded movie 1 and 2 for free. Watched the first movie, waiting to see the second one before I watch the third. Liked the mecha and ship designs, thought the story was pretty decent. But, you know, I feel I didn't underpay all that much... I'd pay like $5 each, but I just don't feel they're worth $15 each (and, keep in mind, I've gladly paid for the MOSPEADA box set, original BGC box set, 2 discs of BGC 2040, then the BGC 2040 box set, the original AD Police, the new AD Police, Bubblegum Crash, and would pay for scramble wars if it were available subbed).

No idea. I've never seen it. Hasbro doesn't list it on their site (and they do list a bunch of older out of stock ones). No sign of it on Amazon or eBay.

The only one I bought on DVD was Rhea Gall Force, which I think I paid maybe $10 for like 7 years ago. The others I've downloaded, excepted for the 2nd movie. Seems like every link for it I find is broken.
-
Anyone know where I can find a BitTorrent of the second Gall Force movie? I've got the 1st and 3rd, but everywhere I look for the second, it's either sites that just plain don't have it (anymore anyway) or broken links. Thanks.

Nice. All very cool stuff. Unfortunately, still not what I had in mind. I'm going to look for it some more, then post it here. As for the Star Wars stuff, very cool, but my son is into the newer stuff (the prequel movies), as opposed to the original trilogy that I grew up on. EDIT: Just looked, thought maybe it was in the MOSPEADA thread, but I can't find it. It was some link to pics from a recent toy show.
-
Those are very cool, but not the ones I had in mind. The ones I saw were of the sort of support ships from the original Macross, the blue and white ones. Specifically, I think there was one of those ones with the long pole-like sensor thing on it. Probably doesn't help much.

I love the Hasbro Titanium Series tiny little ships. I know they make Star Wars, Transformers, Spider-Man, Indiana Jones, and Battlestar Galactica, though I only collect the Battlestar Galactica ones, and have bought a few of the Star Wars and Transformers ones for my son. Anyway, I was thinking how fantastic it would be to have some anime ones like these, specifically of the many very cool ships (in my opinion) from MOSPEADA. I'm sure there would be a huge market for Gundam ones too, though I'm personally not into Gundam. What do other people think? Also, I saw in some recent pics from some toy show, maybe Winterfest, in Japan what looked like that Titanium Series-like (meaning size and basic design) ships from Macross, but can't find the link now. Anyone have any info on these? Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the red and green Alphas were both on backorder. They probably just don't list it on the site because they know that people are less likely to buy the red and upcoming green Betas if they can't get a matching Alpha. I also don't know how any Alphas can be on backorder, since Toynami has said that they've made all they're going to make of the previous releases and don't intend to produce any more.

I don't suppose there was ever a Gundam that transformed into a motorcycle? If not, then I'm just not interested in owning one.

The Aoshima to Yamato comparisons, both size and details, are what I would love to see. Looking forward to more pics.

Very cool. Now, if I only had some Invid figures I might not feel so ripped off by my CMs. Love the pic though.
-
My experience has generally been: 1) Order confirmation the same day 2) Shipping confirmation 3-10 days later 3) Shipping has taken 10 days everytime, from California to Massachusetts.
-
And the crazy thing is, the Aoshima costs more...

I think the Ateliers are a (claimed) 1/12th scale. The Yamatos claim 1/15th, but are really 1/18th.

Nice pics! I still haven't decided if I'm getting the other three motoslaves. They're starting to be available cheaper and cheaper, but I love my metallic Priss and motoslave and would rather get the others in metallic too, if they ever come out with it.

Japanese Spider-Man Episodes
RavenHawk replied to yellowlightman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I don't know about the doesn't suck by today's standards, but definitely at the time it was pretty good. By today's standards, though, I think you need something more like Heroes or the X-Men movies, rather than this. Still fun to see this old stuff... and you know I love anything with motorcycles in it. -
Can we add a poll to this thread? Who prefers giant robots (i.e. Gundams, Mazinger, Valkyries, etc.) and who prefers power armors (Maddox-01, MOSPEADA, Megazone 23, etc.)?

Let's kind of do one of those where you lean up, almost standing, but your butt's still on the seat, ok? At least until we find out if they had anything to do with it or not.
-
You're probably right.

Well, if it's Dr. Movie, we have to temper an ovations with, you know, what they did on Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles...
