Well, crud - not enough time. I managed to get two good casts out of the 1A head laser mold, to use for the 1D head lasers - but there's no more time between now and when I leave tomorrow morning to make any more progress on the 1D lasers. I'll update all of you once I get back next saturday - sorry for the delay!

Done - and it doesn't look like I'll be able to update this thread before I go out on field trials next week - the mold doesn't like curing in my basement, probably because of the temperature - and it's creating casts that are gooey on the outer surface. Need to try baking the mold tonight - if that helps, I may have something to work with on saturday...

Alright, updating people - just got the 1D conversion kit Friday, and I'll hopefully have the head lasers done sometime this week - the unfortunate thing is I am going away for a week starting next Sunday, so I probably won't be able to start completing orders till I come back. Look for updates this week though!

well, I can tell you I got the non-colored one, the only thing is that it's not tinted at all, it's white...

I dunno - maybe you were struck blind, temporarily, and then miraculously recovered your eye sight, and just now were able to read this thread? And, unfortunately, the 1S head lasers are not being made - at this time. I may rework the molds in the future, but not now, and not for a while...

Can't you get started on them straight away? I mean, I'm not rushing you or anything (or rather I am ) but aren't they conceptually the same as the lasers for the VF-1Js? Approximate size would be the same too I would reckon. It all depends on how captain wants to handle this - since I am going to guess some people won't want the hollow head lasers, so they'll opt for the original solid head laser - and if captain casts all those, they will match the rest of the conversion kit perfectly. In which case, I'd rather modify his original with my head lasers, so that the sculpts are exactly the same.
