Alright, found it. It was a sprue of Zaku II PG parts - I forget which sprue, and it's in none of the emails I have. If I remember correctly, it was a moderate sized sprue (I want to say arm or shoulder parts), and the sprue itself cost $5, plus $5 for shipping. My advice - try it, and see what happens (someone needs to be the guinea pig! )

I've purchased sprues of parts from HLJ for PG kits in the past, and it was relatively simple - specify the kit and sprues you need, and within two months, I had them. I forget how much I paid for them - when I get to work, I'll see if I can dig up the confirmation email...

Actually, the yellow one is the prototype, the blue one is the modified version of the yellow one, that is outfitted for combat duties...

I downloaded and watched all the eps after a friend suggested it, and I am mad at myself for missing it while it was on the air. I am looking forward to getting my dvd set too - now, instead of that craptacular Tremors series Sci-Fi is running, why couldn't they have picked this series up. Such potential wasted...

Whats your favorite dirty pleasure Scifi flick?

Two words: Deep Rising Treat Williams actually doesn't need to show his ass in this one for it to be good! -
Well, to be correct - that's just the regular Gouf. The Gouf Custom is the Gouf from 08th MS Team, and is not the Mobile Suit depicted in the HY2M series...
-
Whoa, that's impressive. Where can you get these and what models are available? Vostok 7 You've never heard of these? The HY2M Glorious Grade series, in 1/60th scale, has three releases so far - the Rick Dom in normal and Char's colors, and the Gouf. You can get em from HLJ, or Spidey - but they are going to cost a little - the Dom is $166 at hlj, and the Gouf is $111.
-
Dayamn... I'd love to see what you could do with my planned Gouf Flight Type conversion kit for the HY2M!!!

Sorry - didn't mean to insinuate that our case made the news - more of a similar case made the news...

Not to beat a dead horse, but look what made news... 12 Year Old Threatens Killing Spree

patience, young ones - we'll see how the AG progresses, and what parts may be useable on a GBP...

So what if they're first? Their subs are by far the best I've seen for Mac zero - none of the other fan subbers hold a candle to em. Why so much venom towards Infusion - you work for one of the other fansubbers? And making fun of someone because english is their second language is just not cool...

He said the version two was a DVD release....

I did, he seems harmless to me... I don't think it was him. Yes, and you propose we do nothing? Then, tomorrow, what happens when we read in the news that a 14 year old, from marywood country day school, has shot and killed some of his classmates. Sure, this is a long shot, but wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution, possibly saving some lives, then doing nothing, and possibly allowing innocent people to die... Who suggested not doing anything? I think it was just someone else screwing around... IE one of his friends who knows his MW password. Ok, you may not have suggested directly that nothing should be done, but at least when I read your first response, it sounded like you weren't taking his post seriously - 'The threat is so obviously fake... A true killer wouldn't come here to brag, where no one would be connected to the actual victims.' Though you may not have meant for your original post to come off in that manner, this is a text base communication medium, and posts can be interpreted in ways the original poster hadn't intended...

This doesn't look like the guy who works at the Quickie Mart...

It's possible - as long as you have the proper tools. Transparent resins are highly susceptible to bubbles, and are typically thicker, so you'd need a vacuum chamber to remove all air bubbles presnt after mixing the resin - if there is even one air bubble, the cast will be ruined. It all depends on how much money you want to put into your hobby tools - I personally need these kinds of tools, so I have a nice vacuum chamber and pressure chamber, along with a vacuum pump and compressor.
-
Actually, I take that back - it all depends on the surface finish of the parts. If they have a dull finish, the clear parts may come out more opaque than clear. It'd require polishing of the armor parts before casting them...
-
I know I probably shouldn't say anything, but casting clear armor parts shouldn't be too hard...

How about an iPod? Since all the new Transformers are newer stuff, and not their old 80's stuff, why not? Yeah, they should make a transformable iPod, that then ejects... mp3s... that transform into... wait, wah?! -
I am thinking, why is this in the 'How to Customize Macross Toys' forum...

That is a very true, and more reflects upon the obsession the movie industry has with name recognition. Arnold should spend more time selecting the movies he's associated with - he's had several great movies, and several movies that he should be ashamed of - which is why I question him being called a SciFi Star. I guess i'm just miffed that a discussion on Schwarzenegger - who is loosely related to SciFi (and alot of that thread has nothing to do with SciFi) - has managed to stay up this long, whereas other threads that had much more to do with Anime and SciFi were closed by a moderator's whim...
-
He's as much a SciFi 'star' (I use the term 'star' very loosely - he's more an adequate actor, riding the success of a couple of movies that actually did good), as he is a comedian. I count 28 movies he's been credited for on IMDB. 10 of them are listed as SciFi. 11 are listed as Comedies. He's more an Action star, who has played some SciFi roles (he's been in 22 Action movies).

For once, I actually have to agree with Ali - even if his DVD thread was off topic, it was more on topic than Agent One's Schwarzenegger thread...

there was a topic in the Other Anime and Sci-Fi forum, asking everyone to list their dvd collections. I am going to guess, since it was off topic, that it was deleted...
