Chronocidal - that composition looks amazing! It'd be great for one of the sides of the Mac+ box (obviously)! Question to everyone - where is that image of Isamu standing in the desert with the planes overhead taken from? Is that a screen cap? If we knew the original source, it'd be easier to scan it or screen cap it. Oh, and DA - web or jpg images would work, as long as they were still the same size as Paul required - it's just finding images that are that large, since they are displayed at 72 dpi, and most images on the web never come that close to the required size...

He's got terrible customer service, and he doesn't seem to understand the nuances of the english language as well as a seller should - as such, he gets very defensive very quickly. My advice - much like my experience with TISINC, you can either try to communicate that you want to return the item for a full refund (I tried and didn't understand what I was saying), or just go and resell it on ebay, or to one of us (what I ultimately wound up doing instead of returning the item).

Yeah, that'd be great for the spine, with some sort of MW logo in the upper left maybe? Definitely need the MW logo on the spine, since it'll be the most viewed side of the box. How about asking wolf13 for a nice render of his Macross in ship mode, against a star background?

What is your Metal Gear code name?
fulcy replied to Jolly Rogers's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Campbell: "Your code name for this mission will be Grenade Dolphin" Woo hoo! I get to blow things up - unless that means I'm a dolphin, who's also a grenade, and I blow up!?!? -
Chronocidal posted this pic in the Mass CG Project thread - maybe we should ping some of those guys who have yf-19 and yf-21 models to do some high res renderings for the Mac+ case?
-
Also check the favorite anime death sequences thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=5063 several posts that were quoted (one by Duke, one by Whiskey, and one by Dragonlord), have all disappeared...

I've always loved the image of isamu standing in a field, with his hand up towards the sky like he's flying - the pose that Tony had his Isamu figure in - have that on the spine of the case, and maybe the YF-19 on one face, and the YF-21 on the other...

Slacker - get to work!
-
Yup, but it's the first pics I've seen... I just love the concept - taking an SOC, and customizing it... You're basically making your own diecast toy! Now if only Aoshima would make a diecast Getter One - then I could customize that into the Black Getter from Shin Getter...
-
Ah, the SOC custom sees the light of day - great sculpt, considering it's your first attempt - can't wait to see it finished!

Well, yeah - mechadream is the US distributor for G-Sys...

I just received an email from them this morning, so their site must just be down. The email contains a nice teaser though... \

Quick explanation - this is MacrossWorld, not RandomWorld. The mods don't want to have to deal with an off topic forum, because it requires alot more moderation than your normal forums (it works on VE.com because the user base is so small).

any pics?

Thing you have to remember, though, is based on the VF-1 line from Yamato - they released the 1/60's to test the market. Once they sold well, they decided to do the 1/48. I would guess that a 1/100 VF-0 would be similar to the 1/60 VF-1 - to test the market. If it doesn't sell well, we may never see a larger scale VF-0...
-
Yeah I have been wondering about those. The part behind the arms looks to be part of the tail fin assembly...

Who's to say I don't already have all the HQ releases of Invader Zim on my computer As a side note, I love Idiot Dog Brain - showed that one to my GF the other night, and she almost pissed herself - not a good thing, since she was sitting on my lap.
-
Read the link I included in the first post - DVD release around may
-
I know some of you guys out there are as into Invader Zim as I am - so, like me, you'll probably crap your pants to find out that the little green guy is coming to DVD About frickin time - guess there was enough fan interest in this for them to go forward...

Porn?

If Yamato doesn't have plans for the GPB Armor in 1/48th scale, I do. Stay tuned...

Well, it's pretty simple enough: YF-23 Length - 67 feet GP01FB Height - 64 feet Mirage Height - 50 to 55 feet All these numbers are readily available on the net - the hardest to find was the Mirage's height, and that's listed at 15.2 meters to the shoulder, so add about 2 meters onto that for total height, and you get around 55 feet. Now, converting to inches, and then dividing by 144 will give you the height and length that your models should be at: YF-23 Length - 5.58 inches GP01FB Height - 5.33 inches Mirage Height - 4.58 inches I can't really tell from the poses you have these guys in which one is truly bigger, but based on the numbers, it seems like they should all be about the same size...

The AG is the Armored Gerwalk project - you can see the original thread for it HERE Progress has been slow, because I needed to restart the shoulder armor, cause I wasn't happy with it. I'm probably 75% done with the shoulder now, and then it's on to the fore arm armor. I hope to get this done in time for the Con, and then after that's done, my next project will be the Ostrich and Elint in 1/48 scale (since they use the same bubble canopy, it'll be just different armor ontop of the modified 1/48) - unless yamato beats me to it!
-
Chances of 1/48 two seaters are very slim. Graham Slim until I get done with the AG project...
-
They'd have to do two new resculpts to do the VF-1D and the Ostrich/Elint - the cockpit on the 1D is elongated, and in the Ostrich/Elint it's more bubble shaped...
