How are these member titles in any way "rewarding?" Honestly, you guys are making a much greater deal out of this than it really is. Sheesh, all you get are the little default blue tick marks, be glad it isn't a different valkyrie pic like before.

I'll watch it, I just saw Pitch Black for the first time two months ago. Chronicles looks like it should be fun.

I was doubtful when I went to the first Scooby Doo movie and I discovered that CG animals don't ruin my comedic experience. I mean, both Garfield and Scooby look reasonably good, and they can do things that a real dog and cat couldn't do. Besides; aren't we supposed to suspend disbelief for a bit? I'll check Garfield out, but if it sucks I'll totally tell everyone.But I've been burned by every summer movie so far, especially Helsing.

LAME LAME LAME! Many of you know that I am usually willing to give action movies a break just for the sake of them being a "fun action movie." But COME ON! This movie was terrible. You see, they hook you with the trailers showing Helsing using all ye olde gadgets to fight evil back in the day. Hell, they even show a huge ass gatling gun IIRC, but they never use it. Then, he sucks it up w/ a rapid fire crossbow(that should have been WAY cooler. The movie also takes a steep dive after a certain encounter w/ wolfman and proceeds to crash and burn in my book.

Hope WDC and his wife do too!

The Terminator franchise doesn't really even need Arnold now. They can bring it full circle with maybe a cameo of him jumping into the time machine or whatever and have a Reece lookalike(or MB for old times sake) follow him.

They are not a band and don't have some annoying guy preaching love and peace singing Planet Dance. It's just different albeit aimed to a similar target audience without the mecha. AHHHHHHHHH I see. i was thinking that too. unless lucas changed twin to tiny ion engine. nice ava anubis btw twin ions perhaps? I dunno, for some reason the sim games never grabbed me. I'll admit that I have never sat down and actually played them for more than 5 min though, but I hear they're awesome. I do like the Rogue Squadron series just because of the arcade feel that I am a fan of. Plus, it was a load of fun playing through co-op with my friend and blowing up both Death Stars in Rogue Leader(Rebel Strike).

Why waste power on AA when Television pixels bleed into eachother(because of the way they're arranged). Only recently have we been blessed with awesome, computer style goodness, but the PS2 is old.

I just got done showing a friend the SDF Macross series and the DYRL movie (after he watched M+... I'm training him good). Something that kinda always bothered me is how Minmay got jacked. Mostly in DYRL(go on a date with a guy you like->get abducted and experimented on by aliens->come back to find out he's w/ some other ho), but the series has her go off to start her career while getting abused by Kaifun and working for scraps. Meanwhile, Misa just cruises up in her super-dimension fortress and snatches the idiotic Hikaru away. I mean... Misa is cool...but I've always liked Minmay better. Anyone else feel she got screwed in the bad way? I mean, I don't think that she was ever bitchy at all.

Really? Homer himself gets them wrong in the Illiad.... ?? The Iliad is about events which "occurred" in the late Mycenaean period or early Dark Ages of Greece. IIRC the description of tactics in the Iliad is reasonably plausible given what we know about the period (which isn't much). If there's a major error in the poem, the only one I can think of is the use of iron swords--they should be bronze. Maybe you can elaborate, Max. As for the film, I guess I'm not going to see it. Well off the top of my head, we know that the greeks didn't ride their chariots into battle, park them, then fight... :-/ In any case, Homer was a storyteller, not a tactician.
