wow, that's exactly what i just built last month! Heh... didn't know it was still in style. Then again, I upgrade twice a year (fall is usally video card time, spring is mobo/proc etc...) with peripherals in between....

pff, the alpha ran fine on my system.....and that one was older than the one I have now. Oh, and Farcry is BEAUTIFUL on my system too... I am currently thinking of upgrading to an Athlon 64... dunno though... I may hold out for some sweet BTX lovin... but that's prolly not even gonna be an issue until next year.

Same Specs as me! Well hopefully the ATI cards can handle Doom3 - - since its optimized by ID for NVIDIA cards... HL2, on the other hand, is optimized for ATI cards That new/old counterstrike game looks awesome (except for the elimination of boosting). Yeah, I quit CS because the graphics got real ugly... I mean... 5-6 years is long enough to stay on one engine for me.

AMD 2800+ "Barton" @ 2.24 or 2.5 ghz... I forget lol 512mb DDR400 Corsair NForce 2 mobo(msi because my asus crapped out, gonna get a new one when I upgrade this fall so I can wait) Radeon 9700 pro I should be set. This game will look and sound awesome on my 21'' Sony Monitor and Logitech Z-680s.... mmmmm....

My post count is large. But this is my total since the beginning. I think I'm short about 1500 posts total, but that's fine. I figure it balances out my wacky posts in Winter 00 - Spring 01... so I consider this count spam-free. . . unlike Skullone(banned) who almost made 10000 just by always replying to every topic he could... whether he was contributing or not. Maybe I should get into HG License debates though... that's a post-mine. *lords over the rest of you with mighty post count*

Are there any good Naruto AMVs? I haven't really seen any. I think my favorite AMV is Kyle's Mom is a Big Fat B!tch using Eva and DBZ footage. There's a good one with Linkin Park - Faint.... Fits pretty well for a series as angsty as Naruto lol. There's others.. but my room-mate had them all... Can't you get stuff at amv.org or something? I forget where... If you're interested, I've got a Rock Lee Mentos Commercial though. Oh and someone did a hilarious amv of Sifl & Ollie's "Ninjas of the Night" song using clips from Naruto. Comedy gold!

My ideal Robocop toy would be a 12" poseable Dragon-style figure with diecast armor that you could take apart and reveal his twisted internal workings along with a big ass metal ED-209 with spring levered legs, etc. That would rule the Earth, but they're ain't no way McFarlane could make anything that cool. Whatever they put out will have tons of detail, fall apart, and be made of rubbery plastic. I'm willing to bet if they make a 4th robocop movie Aoshima may take a stab at larger scale robocop toys. That would just be unbearably cool! I'd be all over Robocop vs Terminator... but they'd probably make something like Robocop: Murphy Goes to Africa or something... Is it just me or does that toy look nothing like Hicks? I thought McFarlane was all about recreating movie "moments." When did Hicks hold his gun in a lame way and have a bewildered look on his face? They should make a whole squad tho, so I can at least get Apone and Hudson... speaking of which.. I think the toy looks more like Hudson than Hicks... (I'm Hudson sir, he's Hicks..)

Yeah, because nobody likes Will Smith. Come on, his records went platinum, his sitcom was a hit, his movies are usually reasonably successful (even Wild Wild West). I like Will Smith(though he does look kinda weird lately...) and think he's good at what he does. But seeing is believing and I'll see I, Robot soon enough so I can judge for myself. Til then, the jury is out.

ummm... cool? Destroids are heavier probably because they incorporate different OTEC enhancements. I mean, valkyries are primarily aircraft and can be stored as such, on their struts/wheels(more even dist. of weight and on cushy tires no less). Destroids probably use heavier materials... is all. Most of the Destroids were just mobile turrets for the SDF-1 anyway. I got a friend into Macross w/o even mentioning valkyries. I told him it was about a ship with a big gun that had these robotic tanks walk around on the hull and defend it. Interesting read, but its kinda trekkie like don't you think?

BAHAHAHH I totally forgot that one. What really got to me is when emperor palpatine says "my best legion of troops are guarding the facility" then not a minute later they are getting killed by furry creatures. Man if this was the best the empire had to offer..... How about the time when an unarmed space smuggler charges at a full squad of fully armoured and armed Storm-Troopers, the most elite of the Empire ground forces and said elite troops run away! Running from a limp-wristed smuggler... that's pretty pathetic. Empire= win.
