I believe it was something to do with a small majority of the Japanese male population which was staying home prefering to ogle images of female anime and video game characters instead of going out and finding real girlfriends. I remember reading a news story about a while back, and honestly, I could not tell you where I saw it. Maybe someone else out there would know. As far as American males go, I think as a culture, a large majority of us would rather go out and hang with girls than stay at home and dream about pixelated ones. That's just my opinion. But the "other side" needs lots of work. Agent One and I were talking about integrating the board and the main page... making it smoother... but Shawn is ever elusive.

I'm a fan of most of the games(PC/Arcade) and I would rather watch someone else play the Arcade game for an hour and a half. There were some cool parts, but overall its a shitty movie. Aside from this board, nobody I know liked it... boys, girls, fanboys, casual fans, players of the game.... Oh well... as others have said... hopefully this will generate enough interest for a better sequel, or maybe even just Pred or Alien standalone sequel.
