On Obi-Wan... you know these movies take place over the course of like... 20 years. Were you as good at anything you do now 20 years ago?

I voted for Ob1/qui-gon vs maul but 2nd is Ani/Obi because yeah... it was exciting. Realistic swordfights have always been a lot more boring than realistic ones. It all about the choreography baby.

I found that as well. I guess there isn't as much sensory overload the second time. You can spend more time noticing all the suttleties. Yeah, the first time was crazy. I was so engrossed in the story. But the excitement of the Obi/Ani anticipation made it very very disorienting the first time I saw it. But, the second time I was able to notice so much more now that I know the story.

I've seen it twice. The second time just make me like it more. We have Return of the Jedi left to watch of the OT, then we'll get around to 1 and 2. But man, it really makes me like the prequels more than the originals. Guess that's just my taste. I'm more of a fan of the grand scale that many of the OT movies were missing (I suppose due to the lack of planet hopping and the Rebels' underground nature.) I still like them all and I can make up excuses in my mind for the aesthetic discrepencies between the two trilogies. I also have a newfound appreciation for Episode IV, its not as bad as I though. Its still my least favorite though.

Fantastic Four - Lame Comic Lame Cartoon Lame Movie and now... another lame movie. They've never really impressed me. Dr. Doom is kinda lame too. MEH! I say! Prolly a rental here...

I thought the TV show was good and bad. I never really liked the fights, they were always pretty anticlimactic.

There was something else the book added that I felt meant alot. The scene where Windu, Yoda, and Obi-Wan are riding in the Rep.Gunship in preperation for Yoda's Kashyyyk operation. I dont' want to give it away, since I felt it was waaaaaaaaaaaay more meaningful than the movie's version. Can you pm me what they say?

Its ok dude. I hear what you're sayin... I got you covered. Anyway, I'm open to ideas of a system of sorts on how to do it. So post some ideas and whichever is the best(most feasable) will go into effect. I will volunteer to be the one to approve/activate the titles. They don't have to be 100% clean, just within the rules etc.

Hey, everyone's doin it; 1) Revenge of the Sith (I love this movie. Everything that has been building...) 2) Empire Strikes Back (As with ROTS; I could feel emotion. Esp. during Luke vs Vader) 3) The Phantom Menace (Qui-Gon, my second favorite Jedi. The Jedi have purpose.) 4) Attack of the Clones (Sappy loves scenes kill it, but the birth of the Empire is my hook) 5) Return of the Jedi (Ok... in the end... but for the most part boring.) 6) A New Hope (Up until the last space battle, this movie bores me. The SE versions help add life to the world, but Luke really bugs me in this movie. Alec Guinness makes me have a soft spot for the film though, I think he really got the character.) Don't get me wrong though, I do like all of the movies more than the average film. I placed Episode I above most of them because well... it shows how the Jedi were part of the problem to begin with. Although, the battle was lame, it wasn't intended to be the high-stakes fight like at the end of ROTJ or ANH... it was a minor skirmish that had implications throughout all 6 films and sets the stage for how the Sith came to power.

I like the idea that members that are well known get to have custom member titles. It seems like a little less fun though if they get to make up their own. What do we all think of a "nomination" type system where another member has to come up with one for you? After it has been approved by a mod, we can put it in. (if someone REALLY dislikes theirs, we can remove it... but its supposed to be fun, so super-mean ones won't be allowed)

*blinks* I'm not sure how to take this. I HOPE it's a joke... But if it isn't... Yes. All the Metal Slug games to date, with the exception of the 2 NGPC and 1 GBA game, have started in the arcades, on SNK'S NeoGeo hardware. Never seen em. I've just seen 1, 2, 3 and X. Then I heard SNK was going under and stopped paying attention.
