  1. Before watching the anime : Ozma Armored After watching the anime : Ozma Armored After watching the movies : Ozma Armored Must be renewal version! That simple! :
  2. this thread needs more love! Very nicely done! I know the comic book version has different head/visor design. I also know the head can be easily separated at the neck on this model. Since you made it, can you make alternate comic book head and swap between two? -just an idea
  3. it doesn't seem to matter. I got payment notice for VF-171 and asked them to convert all my pre-orders to yen. They just did it.
  4. I've been having an affair with 1/6 scale figure custom projects.. Last 2 projects took me about an year. Here is my just finished project 'Berserk Guts Wolf Armor ver.' from Manga 'Sword of Berserk' I'm coming back to Macross custom now. Oh I missed you!~ Here I come VF-1!!
  5. For Macross stuff #1 VF-4G $362 (with shipping) #2 SDF-1 $320 (with shipping) Non-Macross stuff #1 3A Metal Gear Rex - $490 #2 Hot Toys Dark Knight Tumbler - $455.77 (with tax) However, nothing beats the upcoming Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile which is $600....
  6. It says the owner only tried the super pack once, and put it back in the box. sticker (decal) is not used. Box has wear and teat (typical used item says this in auction) Box was thin, so he used double sided tape to support the box shape. No return, shipping is by HakoBOON. (my note: most Japanese auction item is not sent outside country)
  7. Yeah those AB parts are expensive. I've been using the same guns (2) for more than 10 years - but that's after damaging and getting rid of one before that. Back then, they didn't sell parts separately, so Only option was to get a new gun. I don't know your skill level, so I'll put down just general notes. *My advice is get a good one and take good care of it. It sounds simple, but hard to do. *As long as you clean it after each use and do a full cleaning once a year (disassemble and clean parts), it should last long time. *Lacquer or Enamel based paints are easier to clean, but unhealthier than Acrylic paints. Acrylic paints are water based, but becomes problem once dried up. So clean quickly after each use. *Never ever push the needle in excessively.
  8. To be nitpicking, the vernier inside cup should be a round shape Just kiddind. for 1/72, that's very good detail.
  9. It sounds like the end tip (the tube that holds the needle at the tip) is damaged by needle or paint. This happens during cleaning or by trigger habit (let off with spring). If it's clogged, the air leaks from other side (top) in most cases.
  10. Got 1 pre-ordered at NY! AE also has it, but at a little higher price. In case NY closes pre-order
  11. Hey Valk009 Do you still have it available?
  12. it says it might smell like cigarette smoke (probably owner smoked in a room), so keep that in mind if ordering. It's used/open box. so it has some wear and tear, but overall, it's in good condition.
  13. Well, it's sold out at multiple shops and I've built all sorts of model kits. To me its never too late for this. I want them keep trying until they get it better and near perfect. I would keep buying. I was really impressed with their RG Z gundam which is a transforming kit. So I have some degree of hope for it. Decal/paint is still a whole different problem all together. Hopefully theyll find some solution for it.
  14. Quick Translation thou it's obvious. Both front and main landing gears have high detail. Transformation is done while keeping the room for housing landing gear box. Gear door can be open/closed. (meaning no swap parts, i guess)
  15. I was just trying to say that you should value yourself higher for your skill. Artists are often too generous and humble. If it's between artists, I guess it's not that case Anyways, I love the figure and especially the cockpit detail. Maybe you can talk to your collector friend and have the cockpit/seat available for casting After that, more options can be available, you know (like other pilots..)
  16. Looks very nice! Honestly thou, you should charge $40-60 per hour for this kind and level of skill. That's average commercial contract artist's rate these days I assume this would take a lot more than 10-12 hours? You should've asked more if the client asked unique/no copy version
  17. Wow. It's the Ultimate for sure!!! I always wanted this kit...By the time I could afford one, it was gone...
  18. Bandai version of 1/60th Macross TV, DYRL, Plus line - (with gimmicks in new model kit. Oh and Already-renewal version!- no multiple release) Arcadia version of 1/60 Macross Frontier line (this sounds tough.. That detailed Cockpit sounds really nice, too) Hot Toys 12" version of All Pilots and Characters Hot Wheels (or Takara) version of all mini diecast collection!
  19. Hobby Search Pre-order is now open VF-1 A/S Strike Parts Set for VF-1 only reason I pre-order is for discounted price. Some case they go back to full price after item release.
  20. AV-8B Harrier II length is 46 ft 4 in (14.12 m) little smaller than VF-1. It fits pilot fine?
  21. Now available for pre-order at AmiAmi The Super Dimension Fortress Macross 1/72 VF-1 Strike Parts Set for Valkyrie P..| 1,450 JPY| The Super Dimension Fortress Macross 1/72 VF-1A/S Valkyrie Hikaru Ichijyou Mod..| 3,270 JPY| -Edit: You beat me to it!!

  23. HLJ's 1/60 Yamato Macross items are all disappearing very fast - mostly thanks to everyone here. Even the unpainted model kits are getting low-stock.
