At least for Macross items I would think that since they are not intended for children under 12, this law will not apply. I wonder how this will affect the ebay market. I also collect various toys such as action figures, etc. These would be considered for children under 12. This totally sucks. I wonder if a person can claim some sort of "collectible" designation for selling toys thus re-defining the item for persons above 12 years old.

Here's a link which shows the next Wave for The Clone Wars figures. I was wondering when they would release a clone trooper with that bad a$$ gun. If you recall the episode entitled "Rookies" at one point during the show a clone trooper pulls out a huge gun in an attempt to hold off the attack. Now all I need are those cool battle droids from that episode as well. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Whats...Wars_120200.asp

That makes sense because Art Asylum/Diamond Select toys has a deal now with TRU to sell their products. I noticed TRU has a cool Enterprise toy from the original series as well. Also an Art Asylum/Diamond Select toy. http://www.diamondselecttoys.com http://www.artasylum.com

From what I can tell the Obi-wan in the Falcon Battle pack appears to be this one. Which is from the Vintage Original Trilogy Collection. I'm not sure if the cloak that originally came with this figure is included in the Falcon battle pack. I tried looking to see where the Luke came from, but I can't seem to determine which version it is. Perhaps it's a kit bash from previous figures.

It's interesting how different items will be scarce in different areas. I quite often see Rattlers at any given Target in my area. It is also interesting to note that one Target will have tons of stock while another will be almost completely void of Joe merchandise. I'm just waiting patiently to see what the stores will start putting on sale now that the holidays are over. I have my eye on some of those 3-packs at Toys R Us like the air or sea command sets.

I noticed around my area we have had a large restocking at the Walmarts. I've never seen so many Commander Faie figures in one store. At least 2 stores had around 5 or 6 of them on the shelves. I remember only being able to find 1 at any given time. It's interesting because some stores seem to be totally wiped out of Star Wars figures while others seem to be fully stocked and figures literally falling of the pegs.

I finally found a Sky/Ghost Hawk at my local Walmart here in the Atlanta area. I swear this is the last place in the US to get anything. As usual they only had 1 of each item out on the shelves at any given time. They had the Ghost Hawk, Water Moccasin(now called Sting Raider), Firebat, and SHARC.

I don't believe so, although I don't own the Falcon set. It is an upcoming release as a regular figure for Wave 1 2009. Should be on shelves on 1/15. Here is a pic of the upcoming figures. I'm looking forward to Han, Luke, Obi-wan, Space Trooper, and the Jawa. The build-a-driods look cool as well.

Do you guys remember the series EXOSQUAD?
sharky replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
When I went home for the holidays I dug up all my old toys that my parents still had in boxes. Among many things, I found my old Exo Squad toys. I didn't even remember the names at first. I had JT Marsh and Typhonus with their respective E-frames. I was missing one leg engine and the missiles of JT's suit. I also had the Exo Carrier Resolute II. They were pretty cool toys. I am having everything shipping to me since it was that, some Star Wars, and Star Trek toys I wanted to bring back as well. -
That doesn't change the fact that you are totally wrong. You have a dissenting point of view in as much as I could say that the earth is flat. Having joined MW only 4 days before I did makes you just as much a "noob" as me.

Why do you keep arguing that he has not achieved flight? He is traveling at least 200km/h which is definitely enough speed. He states clearly that he can go "up" as well as "down, left, and right". The Fox News article reported that during his Alps flight he rose 2600 feet before coming back down again. Give it up already. You are dead wrong on that point.
-
According to several news sources this guy has flown over the Alps and the English Channel, so it's fair to say he has achieved sustained flight. I can only imagine what the future holds for such a vehicle. Definitely has military applications.

I don't know what planet you are from, but here on Earth a woman is definitely not cheaper than a Flexidisplay.

Which size of Flexidispay is most appropriate for a 1/48 and which is best for the 1/60? 2.5", 4", or 6"? Thanks in advance.

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series
sharky replied to BoBe-Patt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I say a Star Wars holiday special is long over-due. Who here remembers the original 1978 special which featured Chewbacca's family(wife Mala, father Itchy, and son Lumpy) celebrating "Life Day", and the first appearance of Boba Fett.- 1217 replies

I agree. I don't consider it jumping the shark. It is quite understandable that the gang may come across UFO watchers in their investigation into the origin of Skynet and the like.

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series
sharky replied to BoBe-Patt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
There may be a break due to holiday programming, or perhaps they are simply behind schedule on the releases. It seems you can watch all 10 episodes right now online. http://www.starwars.com/- 1217 replies

I got my Force FX lightsaber today. Overall, I am pleased with it. I got the Obi-wan saber which, according the box, is the Ep III version. The hilt seems to be almost all metal including the black, gold, and brown pieces. The switch is plastic as well as the electronic assembly, the speaker of which shows through on the bottom. It has a good balance and weight to it. The speaker seems to be plenty loud. It takes 3 AAA batteries. I like the way the blade powers on in that the light starts from the hilt and extends out as the activation sound is playing. It does the reverse during the power down sequence. I did have a QC problem with mine. There is a retaining cylinder that slides over the electronic assembly to help retain the batteries. This retaining cylinder is held in place by a small screw. The head of the screw was severely stripped when I got it which prevented me from removing the retaining cylinder. I ended up drilling out the screw and destroying the screw in the process. The good news is that the retaining cylinder is notched and when you put it back in the hilt it is held in place. The screw is just an added way to secure it. I was going to call Hasbro customer service, but they close the customer service hotline early on Friday. Monday, I'm going to request a replacement part and see what happens.

The Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread v2.0
sharky replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I would remain cautiously optimistic as it's not a "Buy It Now" price and the auction is not over. -
The Force FX lightsabers at walmart.com sold out pretty quickly, but you have a second chance. They listed Darth Vader's and Anakin's lightsabers again. Get 'em while they last. http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do...0&Find=Find

I was at my local KB Toys since they are going out of business they are offering various percentages off their prices. I saw these GI-Joe figures on a minimal card. It was not the full size card you normally see. Most of the figures did not even have any accessories. They looked more like the older Joes before they started to make these newer ones. They looked pretty lame and they were like 2 for $4.98 or something.

Check out the 2009 Titanium releases. I don't like that the are putting out so many repaints, but I suppose some people like it if they are trying to build a squadron or something. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Whats...ries_119850.asp Is it just me or does the astromech on Obi-wans starfighter look removable.

Now all we need is for someone to modify the lyrics to Zero-G Love.
