I wonder if Yamato will put out a Deadalus and Prometheus separately to convert to a TV version. I think it would be cool to have the DYRL SDF-1 with the TV ships attached. Heck, for the price they are likely to charge it should just come with them already so you can swap. These days I have to selective about what I buy due to budget reasons. I cannot get everything that I would like. On my list for this and next year will be this Yamato SDF-1, Bandai Macross Quarter, 1/60 Yamato VF-11, and some of the VF100s when they come out with the VF-4, VF-171, etc.

For crying out loud! First you get people complaining about the WAVE SDF-1 being too small. Now Yamato is putting out a larger scale SDF-1 and people are coming out of the woodwork complaining that it is too big. I give up. OK, had to get that off my chest.

That's what she said! OK, I'll sit down and shut up now. -
That's an interesting thought as well. I personally like to think "Lost Peace" makes the most sense. Thanks to those who have enlightened me a little more. Now I understand that it could be either.

My dream is to have that poster autographed by all three of them.

I don't quite understand. How can it be either? Shouldn't it be one or the other? What Japanese word does the katakana represent? Does the katakana in this title represent a Japanese word or an English sounding word. What I mean is, are the characters trying to approximate the English word peace or piece, or do the characters represent a Japanese word in which case it must be one or the other but not both.

Finally saw a complete Wave of these at my local Toys R Us. They finally restocked Legacy Collection and TCW figures. I went ahead, bit the bullet, and got Stormtrooper Han & Luke, Spacetrooper, and Jawa in "one swift stroke". I picked up Ben a couple of weeks ago. I was tempted to get Goldie from TCW as well, but my check out price was getting a little high for me. Now I sit back and play the waiting game. BTW with the four I picked up today at TRU. I am able to build R5-A2. I have no interest in the remaining figures from this wave.

He probably has a hatch that opens. Seriously though, that's a cool looking suit.

Looking at the Night Raven I keep hearing a trumpet going wah wah wah waaaaaaaahhhh! Pre"T" lame IMO. The whole missiles firing from within the jet intake is dumb. Ditto for the lights in there. So, is this thing a toy gun or a toy jet? Make up your minds Hasbro. In the words of Maxwell Smart, "missed it by that much!"

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series

The Clone Wars is going to also run on TNT now. That's good news for me because I don't have Cartoon Network in HD. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/The_C..._TNT_120678.asp- 1217 replies

Well then, I may just pick one up after all.

Yes, but I can't name a Joe vehicle that is actually 1:18 scale in the first place. The other thing about the True Heroes F-22 are the external missile hard points. Is that actually a version that is out there, or is that just the toy company taking a creative license to it? That was my problem with it, and the reason why I passed on it.

Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles is back with new episodes on it's new night, Friday 13th @ 8pm eastern on FOX http://www.fox.com/terminator/ Here are my TV plans for Friday. 8pm Terminator (Fox) 9pm Star Wars The Clone Wars (Cartoon Network); also record Dollhouse (Fox) 10pm Battlestar Galactica (SciFi Channel) Man, it's great to be a sci-fi nerd on Friday!
-
Valentines day is not until Saturday, so you can stay home on Friday for this. Everyone here needs to get in on this from the ground floor. Start watching Dollhouse this Friday the 13th @ 9pm eastern on FOX. This is the much anticipated show by Firefly and Serenity creator Joss Whedon. Please support this show and don't let it get canceled like Firefly did in it's first season. http://www.fox.com/dollhouse/ Just plan to stick around after Terminator airs on it's new night and watch it. OK, you probably need to either record The Clone Wars or record Dollhouse so you won't miss either on Friday. Oh, and then watch Battlestar Galactica on SciFi channel after Dollhouse.

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series

The GI-Joe you mention also reminds me of how the Warner Bros.(i.e. Bugs Bunny) cartoons were totally edited of any violence. They took on a completely different flavor and I stopped watching them as a kid. I now prefer to get the DVDs of most of the Warner Bros cartoons. As a parent I have to be mindful of my daughter and what she watches. As she gets older I let her watch certain things. A year ago I may not have let her watch TCW. I still have not let he see episode III. It's good that they put a warning before the show, but I really prefer to make my own conclusion and judgment. The thing is, TCW movie IIRC did not have such a scene, so I assumed it was the formula the TV series would follow. However, I have noticed the series has gone a bit beyond the movie. I suppose that's why it is on at 9pm, and I make a special exception to let her stay up and watch it. Overall I think TCW is OK for her to watch. If every other scene was like those 2 death scenes I would probably reconsider. I am really glad that she likes Star Wars as much as I did then and now. It's cool to be able to really share a common interest, and she is really starting to be a cool little girl IMHO. She even likes Transformers Animated as well as G1 Transformers. BTW, this Friday will be 2 new episodes instead of the usual 1.- 1217 replies

Where did you get those images of the MADOX-01? I assume it's a model kit. I've never seen any merchandise from this anime before. I always wanted a MADOX toy.

I think Irish coffee is any kind of coffee with liquor in it.

I checked out your link. Am I mistaken, or did I not see a single mecha. Just a bunch of naked people flying through space. I was hoping to see Ideon in action.

Mmmmm...those are one of my favorites.

OK, who among us as always wanted to train to be a Jedi? http://www.usatoday.com/life/lifestyle/200...ainer-toy_N.htm

It looks like the SDF-1 is doing a ventriloquist routine. Oh, and in Macross jokes reverse YOU!

Nice sketches, but dare I ask why that guy has an umbrella where he is standing?
-
I 2nd that motion. You get 2, that's right, 2 ships. How's that for power? But wait, there's more. Not only do you get 2 ships, but they combine into one bad mo' fo' mecha. Now, how much would you pay? And the obligatory "that's what she said" goes to 505thAirborne.
