Thanks VF5SS. Pulled my 19 out of it's box after a year and found the left shoulder had fallen apart! Just made my order now

All Things Video Games Thread: II

Played and finished Ghost Trick. Fantastic game, though a bit brief. I'm now playing Okamiden, racked up 4 hours but not got very far yet. I get the feeling it's a pretty big game... Also, I've been experimenting with different racing wheels on GT5. After 2 failures with cheap wheels I decided to get a Driving Force GT, this was a good decision Do you guys use a racing wheel? If so which one? -
Glad to hear you guys in Japan are ok, I just hope further casualties are minimal...

I'm currently waiting for mine to arrive, the pics look great. They're making me get a bit impatient though!

I don't use sniper rifles so for me this isn't an issue but I have seen a lot of complaints about this... Also: GT5 to be released in the PAL region on 24th November 2010 I'm taking this news with a pinch of salt, will let you know in a couple of weeks if this is reality

I got Black Ops on Tuesday. Enjoying both the single and multiplayer modes

Played the demo for Enslaved today. I think Ninja Theory has made another winner

Managed to find a UK based company to get MP Rodimus from for £126.99/$196.78/¥16,810. Free delivery and import fees/taxes paid for (considering the cost/size this will be at least £50 extra!). Not too bad I reckon...

England blatently sucks then as not even TRU is stocking Generations or Hunt for the Decepticons at the moment! (At least not online...)

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0
Valkyrie Nut replied to wolfx's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Well let's see. I'm currently watching... The second season of Strike Witches -
I don't know about you guys across the pond but I'm having a hard time finding Peg here in England... Ended up getting Battle Blade Bumblebee. This is the first movie BB toy I've bought since the original two and I am so glad I didn't. Definitely the best deluxe version released in my opinion

For those who played the HAWX 2 demo, how easy/hard did you find mid-air refueling and landing? Landing was pretty straight forward but I found the refueling a pain...

Has anyone else got GX-44 Taiyou no Shisa Tetsujin 28? I bought it while in Japan in June and I think it's a really cool SoC

I've got it and can say it's very good in my opinion

Slighty OT but just completed chapter 2 of War For Cybertron and found my favourite piece of dialogue from the game so far:
-
Me and my girlfriend had similar situations while there a few weeks ago. We were on the Metro in Tokyo one morning and this guy sat opposite us tryed to make conversation in English with my girlfriend. She just smiled and nodded, mainly because she couldn't make out what he was saying. Also, in Nara, a group of middle school children walking by were saying hello (again to my girlfriend) while I was taking a photo of the Todaiji temple gate. If recall correctly there were a few other moments she had too, this was probably due to her looking like a stereotypical foreigner (blonde, fair skinned, blue eyes). Still, we saw the funny side of it, even though it was a bit annoying at times

Any of you guys been playing War For Cybertron online? How is it?
-
I'll be there in just over a weeks time
-
To be honest I doubt I'll be able to do that. If I get the chance to do do a third trip to Japan it probably won't be for a long time, being in a full-time job and a long-term relationship stack the odds against me. Oh well, can't have everything
-
Wow, that's virtually identical! I've been "learning" Japanese for at least a few years. I've still got a long way to go as well... I think I'll go look for a college nearby that does a course
-
Heh heh true, I'm a bit of an explorer when it comes to holidays. I have friends in most of the places I'm visiting so that's one of the reasons I'm going there. I have the Japan Rail Pass so that'll make getting around easier

I'm in Japan for 2 weeks from 19th June. Me and my girlfriend will be going to Tokyo, Yokohama, Fujisawa, Kyoto, Osaka & Himeji. We'll also be going to Tokyo Disneyland and Sanrio Puroland! XD I'm brushing up on my basic conversational Japanese at the mo, I seem to know more than I did a few years ago so that's a good sign...

Nice! Where about's you going?
