i actually liked fifth element after i finally saw it on cable. i guess that i just like bruce willis movies (except for live free or die hard [is that the correct title?]). i liked resident evil too (i haven't seen part 3 yet). i thought that it was gonna suck like all of the other video game movies until my friend rented it and showed it to me. i don't play resident evil so i don't know how close or how far it is compared to the video game.

i had to read that twice, i was like "twin turbo char..., no that says super charger". i've never seen a car with twin super chargers, i didn't know that was possible. hmm, i remember when i first started learning how to tune/hook up cars and i asked my friend why nobody ever made a car with a turbo and a super charger.

when they first started the sci fi network i had high hopes for it. but it turned out to be nothing more than a C, D, E, F & Z movie/tv show channel. at least they play anime on there, but that was before i switched to subbed anime only.

i can't wait until next week. the season finale looks like it will be good. i was bored with the sylar episode. i was entertained with the sylar episode. yea, i was saying "this episode sucks" while it was airing but then i said "this was a good episode" after it was done. i don't know why but every since vol. 3 heroes has had me hating and loving the same episode. who will die? will it be hiro, nathan, peter or sylar??? those are the only 4 people that looked like they might die from the preview. i've been thinking since vol. 4 started that they were going to finally kill off nathan 'cause they were making "so evil". but then nathan switched sides again... they need to bring back surprising plot twists. these plot twists didn't surprise me they did in season 1..

the early jason (and freddy and halloween) movies were actually good, that is if you like horror movies (a.k.a. we have no money for a big budget film so lets go out in the woods/small town and make a horror movie). they weren't great movies but they are entertaining. they aren't scary anymore, maybe horror movies are only scary when you are 10 ten years old. i never saw aliens vs predator... now in development. aliens vs. predator vs. freddy vs. jason vs. hellraiser vs. leprechaun vs. critters in space. then, that movie would be listed in this thread as worst science fiction movie of all time. hopefully, hollywood is reading this thread and decides to make this movie a reality.

is the game hard? i heard from a NON-gamer (my boss, the company's owner) that alot of good games aren't imported to the U.S. from Japan 'cause americans don't like hard games, they want something easy. gran turismo seems to be a good example, it's hard to find ppl who play gt compared to how many ppl play need for speed (before they tried to make a racing simulator). WoW is another good example. the game is super easy (but pvp is hard) (i've played rpg's since the 8bit days).

i think in english. i can think in ebonics too but that is it not even a real language, no matter what oakland wants to believe (make them speak proper english instead of them complaining that i speak proper english). i wish that i could think in creole (a french dialect).

i have 32bit windows xp. i'm waiting for windows 7 64bit (or the money for a mac pro with lots of ram) before i add more ram. maybe by then, digidesign will finally release a version of their protools le software that can use more than 3gb's of ram (right now, their website says that they WON'T add support for 64bit os's and more than 3gb's of ram 'cause they believe that their customers won't use more than 2gb's of ram. b.s., they want ppl to upgrade to their studio quality hardware with price tags in the $1,000-$900,000 range).

i'll add a reason to learn a foreign language. i don't have a "source", this comes from my supervisor (who is fluent in spanish, he went to mexico for a couple months to learn the language). he told me that there's research that shows learning a second language extends a person's life expectancy..
