I think the message was real. Probably, there was no distress signal from the 5 fleet because they were more than likely being jammed by the Supervision-Protodevilin Fleet. (as Geperunichi uses Supervision Army ships, human fighters and soldiers, I would think they have something to royally screw any chance of calling for help). I think it wasn't a bad idea to land and I bet they did send out scouts (they more than likely knew about the dinosaur things, but in the 7 Fleet's case, they didn't have time to. <- my explaination for why no one warned Basara, Mylene or Gamlin about the local life). They probably realized there was no danger in the water or the coast, so they landed. I doubt they took down the WHOLE 5 fleet though. I do think some warships stayed in orbit.

I want to see this, but I'd like to wait for the DVD release. I need this, Orguss, and Orguss 02.

Nope. Bad information, the OVA came first. Correct. The OVA came first. I still like Movie Edition way better though.

same happened to me! I got the tapes up until and I had to wait for the next tape to see what happened! THE SUSPENSE ALMOST KILLED ME!

I became more of a Macross fan after watching all of 7. It continues that good "Macross" feel. I don't know why there is all the complaining about the characters, I liked almost all of them (though I thought Gamlin was a bit too stiff). Just because the quality of the animation went down a bit, doesn't make the show any worse. Unlike Macross Plus, Macross 7 is a TV series. I mean, I watched Nadesico the series, and the animation was pretty bad compare to the movie, but I didn't get mad because the whole series wasn't as good as the movie. I thought it had it's own great originality and plot. Same goes for Macross 7.

That would be cool. The only thing like that so far in the VF-X series which is after I think 2045. (BTW, I would LOVE to see VF-X2 made into a movie, that was so freaking awesome)

Oh.my.god. After hearing the Mylene Version of Light the Light when my friend and I were first watching the series, we looked EVERYWHERE for it! AAARRRGGG. Yeah it sucks. They never produced a single for her. I want one sooo bad. I want a "Mylene sings Fire Bomber" album (2 discs). With all the Duet songs with her alone.

I love Da Capo! It's like a fantasy/sci-fi/comedy drama basically. (good animation, love the cast of characters and an odd, but fun, story) The only thing that sucks about it (for me at least), is that half of the show (about 12 minutes) is comprised of 2 songs. 1 is a song/music video performed by the seiyuu (voice actor) of a character and the one after it is the uber-long ending credits. So basically, the show is like 15 minutes, and the extra stuff after it is like 10. @_@

If you can read, you can read subs. Being forced to read subs is worth it when watching Macross Plus Movie Edition.

Yeah! I have the full series of Tekkaman the Space Knight. It's only 2 VHS tapes long. The US voice acting was just INCREDIBLY cheesy. It wasn't too bad, but the alien invaders were complete cheesers. The show was practically made of cheese. I'll stick with Tekkaman Blade.

I almost always get mine at the Anime Expo every year. The only things I've gotten outside of the Expo would be Robotech and Exosquad toys at some comic shops.

Well, there is Tekkaman Blade II, but it sucks. Tremendously. Like I said, the basics of Teknoman/Tekkaman are: 1. Spidercrabs (how could you forget such a catchy minion name?) 2. Teknomen/Tekkamen 3. Giant ring around the Earth (the ORS -Orbital Ring System-) 4. Outnumbered Slade/Blade always beats the bad guys anyway

My VF-11a Thunderbolt, Yamato Die Cast transformable. It'll remain my favorite unless I get my hands on a SV-51 in the future.
