  1. thanks man. Right now, my 0S is in pieces on my room's floor....lie it was shot to pieces by Ivanov, lol! Still, anyone else knew of a way to push the metal bar out?
  2. Upon closer inspection, I just realised..... YAMATO INSTALLED THE METAL BAR WRONGLY!!!! The inside of the metal bar is facing outside, no wonder it never fit in the nosecone.... Damn, I have just unscrewed the the half of the backpack, but The metal bar is too tight....any idea on how to remove the metal bar guys? I need to reinstall it the right side up.....
  3. Sorry guys, posted in the wrong thread before. I have a problem in getting the cover to close on the hip bar for my 1/60 VF-0S, for battroid form. Anyone else encounter this problem, and how did you solve it? Thank you in advance.

    VF-0D

hey, I'm optimistic....I believe Yamato is giving us reverse psychology!
  5. Hi man, sorry for the delay, but I should be able to make the balance payment on the 10th november. My mom is going for the Haj pilgrimage this year, so budget kinda tight....
  6. Hey guys, sorry if i'm interrupting your peaceful day...but I just got to ask you this question.. I have just received my VF-0S, all are well...that is until I try to transform it into battroid mode. I have gone thru the manuals, look thru youtube even....but I just could not get the hip bar locked into place! I saw in the vids, the cover just snap close on the metal bar easily enough, but not in my case. Is there a trick or tips or anything that I messed out in transforming this toy? Also, I cannot get the backpack to snap into the metal bar...is this normal? All help and suggestions are greatly appreciated...
  7. I'm in...if only because it's a Macross valk.....
  8. ah, now you guys did it! Now I just got to have either BoP or Dn!

    VF-0D

demmm...if this is true, that means I'll have to go somewhere dark and sulk....... on that note, how many times have Yamato told us "fat chance'...and suddenly suprise us with exactly what we want? Just keeping faith....
  10. I have never tried to pull the head off. But to make it easier, I use one finger to poke thru the cockpit and push the neck joint up while my other hand pull up the head.
  11. the neck joint is actually folded down...so u have to pull the head up while fiddling/straightening the neck joint.
  12. My order of the day ( until something better comes along... ): 1. 1/48 VF-1J Super Stealth 2. 1/60 VF-11B 3. 1/60 VF-0S 4. 1/48 VF-1A Low Vis 1.0 5. 1/48 customised VF-1S Roy Focker ( I'm hoping the 1/3000 SDF-1 will make the cut. )
  13. ah, steer clear then.....better stick to Chuck, hah!
  14. ah...now that u mentioned it, yeah, I suck at the controller too. Guess another negative point for me....

    Bandai SD Infinite

nice review and pics eriku! The price over here makes me think twice though......
  16. being a sissy myself (ahem...), how would you guys rate the gore content of this show? My stomach kinda churned at the sight of blood...ngeeeeee!
  17. great pics y'all! Make me eyes bleed!
  18. The thing I enjoyed most playing FM games is the strategic element implemented. Like weapons loadout, weight management, salvage management and financial management which affects how ur mechs perform in every battle. And most of the times, a FPS games does not really translate the micromanagement element well enough. With exception to the likes of mechwarrior series, IMHO, often this mechs FPS game just turn out like a regular shoot-em-up. Just my 2 cents.
  19. thanks ultimate one, I have to agree, ur pics are awesome yet serene at the same time.....I can just stare blankly at the screen and be lost in thought....
  20. just adding to the tally as of 22/09/2010: Yamato VF-1s 1/48 = 3 Yamato VF-1s 1/60 v.2 = 5 Yamato 1/60 = 3 Bandai VF 1/60 = 4 Bandai MQ = 1
  21. and I thought it was caught midway thru 'stealth' mode....
  22. yes, it's the 'C' type...white in color....
  23. Hey.....gerwalk mode...NO STAND!!? niceeeeee......
  24. ah...nice! Can't wait for its release! Now I wish they can produce a 1/24 Gryphon.....
  25. well, if SDFM and DYRL is a tv series and movie adaptation in the 'real' macross universe, I would like to think that Roy Focker's character is actually 'killed' for dramatic effect, while the REAL man himself is smirking at us while still doing black ops in deepest reachest of space....hmm, kinda open up for a whole new show....
