  1. Why is that? It's not like home video (VHS) never existed before DVD.
  2. Bring on every single Zeon MS. These toys may be pricy, but they sure beat those cheapo action figures right out of the water. I want a Gouf, Acguy, and Gelgoog Marine.
  3. Another fun Seagal fact... On the set of Executive Decision, Seagal tried to weasel his way out of playing his character's death scene by arguing with the director that his fans will be disappointed. Never mind the fact that he go the part and knew full well what happens to the character in the script.
  4. Why spend that kind of money when a couple of Ewoks and a Wookie can just take it by force?
  5. He was good in Copland, which came out after Judge Dredd.
  6. Is that the one where JCVD1 thinks JCVD2 is getting it on with his blonde girlfriend (he's got one detailed, graphic imagination to boot)? That's the only scene I remember.
  7. How well do you know The Two Towers? quiz My test result:
  8. I suspect G-Saviour also makes Battlefield Earth look Oscar good.
  9. Admit it... it wasn't him but Mia Sara made that flick good! The only movie he was good in was the best Die Hard clone - Sudden Death!
  10. Hmmm, what's the difference between dirty pleasure movies and guilty pleasure movies? I think only Graham got this topic right.
  11. Whoa! I can keep Jean-Claude eating for the next decade with my payday from "Something's gotta give!"
  12. Wow, a $20M budget. Some actors got paid that much (or more) just doing 1 picture.
  13. The guy Triumph reminded to eat his Filet-O-Fish in that clip appeared on stage and sung a song with Triumph, it's on the Triumph CD and DVD. Now that's hilarious.
  14. Put it another way: putting this "movie" on the Sci-Fi channel will make any of their original programs look like theatrical blockbuster quality movies.
  15. I am surprised the court didn't order him to pay Mattel a percentage of the proceeds from the postcards he sold featuring Barbie dolls.
  16. I wish you were being sarcastic. The "space battle" between the mobile suits look like they were moving under water. They were moving soooo slooooooow (and no, this wasn't a slo-mo/bullet-time moment) you wonder what'd be the point to fight with beam sabers when any flying craft could have dusted them with conventional ammo or beam shots before their beam sabers even made contact.
  17. When FOTR was being made, PJ already announced there won't be Scouring of the Shire, along with the removal of Tom Bombadil. Unless they change their minds and got the cast to reconvene and shoot brand new footage for Scouring, I don't think we will be seeing that in the EE DVD of ROTK, as much as I'd like to see it. I personally enjoyed that part of the book, and it sure beats the evil eyes the hobbit heroes got upon returning home in the movie version.
  18. OK... where do I find it? As a sidenote, was there a SSRPG ROM that got translated to English?
  19. Are you talking about the DVD boxset or Zeta music boxset? I don't think one existed for Zeta OST (at least legit ones).
  20. LOL, Wing has 5 OST CDs, buddy. And it's synth-o-rama, not orchestrated. If you want to hear some real orchestrated music, try Gundam F91 or Thousand Nests from V Gundam.
  21. What I mean by Viz doing their own version is if they're including a Rei figure with their English translated version. That'd be a first for those cheapskates. You gotta wonder why all the Chinese editions do the same limited edition bonus items but when it got translated to English not only do we have to pay more for less pages but none of the bonus items got carried over.
  22. If you like Yoko Kanno's music (Macross Plus), check out the orchestral score she did for Turn-A Gundam. There are 3 OST soundtrack CDs, plus a live concert CD and a new OST CD for the movie compilation. The Gundam F91 also have some very good orchestral CDs: original soundtrack, F91 Symphonic Poem, and the Special Concert Live! CD. I'd also recommend Noriyuki Asakura's game music if you are into ninja type of games. He did the soundtracks for the Tenchu and Way of the Samurai games. Silent Hill 2 soundtrack has some excellent rock and moody music.
  23. Here's a new interview where the Governor hinted at the likelihood of his return to the silver screen.
  24. If you live in the L.A. area, just get it from Kawaii Anime. Their store is across the street from Pasadena City College. They also have a booth at Frank & Sons near the back corner.
  25. Is it the Japanese original or is Viz finally doing their version now?
