  1. Is the transformation based on the existing resin kit or a brand new design?
  2. I looked at all the photos but see no evidence of any removal of armor.
  3. If you trade games in a week later, how come you kept Silent Hill 1 and 2 for months?
  4. Thanks for the review, just saw a review for it on X-Play an hour ago. Platformers are't for me so I think I'll pass. It's a crying shame they used those cheap shortcuts instead of doing an animated cut scene... no wonder it's $19.99.
  5. A few years went by between Season 2 and 3, FYI.
  6. I had yet to pick up Return of the King. Looks like I probably should pass on The Hobbit then. Thanks!
  7. We've got a Leykis 101 student! Take me out Kobe style! *squeak* you're the air I breath *moan* you're the strongest person I know
  8. Best Buy is selling it for $19.99 this week, I was wondering if this game is any good (worth 20 bucks and 10+ hours). How closely does it follow the book? The graphics looked very kiddish and it seems like they use puzzles and RPG elements (get experience, skill up...) to extend game time.
  9. You're missing the point... Silent Hill 2 has great story and characters. Doom or Quake it ain't. How far did you get with Silent Hill 2? Did you even finish it? Ever tried Zero / Fatal Frame?
  10. Yeah no kidding, not to mention the age difference. No amount of plastic surgery will make him look that young.
  11. Mandy is the lesbian who brought the German journalist to the Mile High Club in the opening of Season 1 and showed up to give the Prez the deadly handshake at the end of Season 2. She better show up in this season too... maybe she's the virus!
  12. I for one am sick of Nina Myers. They should show more Naked Mandy instead!!!
  13. I can still see them, maybe your browser needs more memory?
  14. Ah, Carpenter at his post-Holloween best. "Put on the glasses!"
  15. Guess there was enough interest to flood the bandwidth of the first picture's host server... Here you go:
  16. No AoD quote is complete without... "Gimme some sugar, baby!"
  17. Info allegedly from OPM: Interesting that Yamaoka has taken over as producer (he did the music for the first 3 games). Rumor has it that some game elements may be tied to characters from Silent Hill 2. Link to screen shots Edit in: MWers in the Bay Area should find a way to crash this party - Akira Yamaoka is DJ'ing it!
  18. You might be onto something though. If the same marking has been used on more than 1 product, chances are it may later be retconned into the canon as an established "fact" like many of the MSV suits and pilots, which were originally made up by fans but later marketed by Bandai.
  19. Generally they are about 18cm tall (7 inches). The Patlabors are slightly bigger. They're usually the best renditions of the mobile suits depicted. The PGs often have to compromise due to the need to have gimmicks. Overall, no painting or gluing is needed, although some of the "mold recycle" releases tend to require a little bit of painting because some parts were not molded in the right colors.
  20. I have 2 letters for you: LD. And no, DVDs are not "eternal". Two words: Laser Rot. It's happened to a couple of CDs I bought back in the 1990s. They are bound to happen to the DVDs in a couple of years.
  21. There was a Starship Troopers Book!!!??? I thought that movie was based on the Starcraft video game. Robert Heinlen wrote the original book somewhere around 1959. Felt much more like a political/military study than a sci-fi war book. LOL, I thought the absence of the Protoss would have been a tip-off. The Starship Troopers novel was directly responsible for inspiring the original Gundam. They basically ripped off the power suit concept and scaled it up and called it a mobile suit.
  22. The kanji above the chevron markings only says "Rank Emblem". Doesn't tell you what the ranks are. There is a book that shows the insignia for different ranks of officers for both Fed and Zeon, but there are no established rank markings for MS. Only uniforms. The Griffon emblem belongs to the Principality of Zeon Defense Platoon, basically their homeland security squad under Giren's command. The yellow emblem belongs to the Mobile Assault Fleet, which is under Kishiria's command. You can see it on the Black Tri-Stars suits.
  23. Got a scan of the page? I don't feel like digging for my PG Zaku manual.
