  1. Don't forget to exercise your Second Amendment rights.
  2. What doesn't kill you... makes you stronger. Someone should make a T-shirt that says "I've seen Man-Faye and survived".
  3. B-Club has also released standalone ver. Ka GKs that's not a MG conversion kit. I've seen a RX-78-2 ver Ka. resin kit that went for several hundred bucks. Don't remember if it was 1/100 or larger though.
  4. Bandai's HCM reissues from a few years ago were still made in Japan and they managed to keep the MSRP down.
  5. ROM packs were rarely used. RAM expansions were what helped most games. Typo...
  6. I am so sick and tired of every friggin' company moving their factories to China just because labor is cheap. We know the US market in general don't care about quality so long as we can get our stuff cheap, but whatever happened to Japan, land of zero tolerance for bad quality? Back in the 80s and earlier all their toys were made in Japan and never had quality problems. What made Japanese companies go overseas when they know quality is gonna suffer? It's not like Yamato is trying sell to the US and have to compete on price.
  7. I didn't get mine until the system was virtual dead but there were quite a few great games on the system: - Sakura Wars 1 & 2 (thankfully these have been ported to other consoles) - Deep Fear (much better than Resident Evil - it's like a more sinister version of Cameron's The Abyss) - the original Mobile Suit Gundam: Giren's Greed (what I bought the system for) - The House of the Dead - Evangelion games - Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Remix Of course, there's also the slew of 2D fighters that played better than their PS1 counterparts thanks to the ROM expansions.
  8. Can you guess if Agent ONE is the one on the left or right?
  9. Thank you, for a while I thought the definition for "hot" has changed to something like not fugly and morbidly obese. Ever notice in the photo A1 posted, the cuter one doesn't need to dress as slurmty for attention?
  10. Man, I think people are already wagering how long this thread will stay open until it gets locked down. FWIW, here's one: Cosplay Angel
  11. Do the numbers still matter? I mean, are people actually still buying PS1 and PS1 games these days?
  12. Yeah I mentioned him earlier. How come he's taking so long with a new movie? It's been a while since Panic Room came out. Hope he's not busy because of the Fight Club videogame.
  13. Question is, do many people care? F-91 is close the bottom of the barrel as far as Gundam goes. Heh, enough people cared to ask. I don't see anyone begging for R1 releases of X or Turn-A DVDs here.
  14. Where did you get that from?! Use of such words to "reclaim" your identity makes about much sense as putting on a straw hat or picking cottons in chains to "reclaim" one's identity.
  15. Was that Lindsay Lohan? If it was, man, has she grown. Yeap. That was a funny skit. She's grown, but I think the cleavage was achieved using push-up bra or similar "trick clothing".
  16. I'll be sure to put you on that rocket when you're past your prime.
  17. If G-Gundam was any indicator, I'd say a Gundam X would turn up to coincide when the series is eventually released stateside. Same thing with the Turn A, though I really dislike it's design. A Double-X would rock though. Especially if it comes with LED's to make the chest and fins light up. Those MG kits from G were released to promote the DVD release of G Gundam in Japan, just like how Bandai released MG Patlabor, MG/HG Dunbines, and HG L-Gaims to get cross-promotional synergy with the DVD releases of their respective shows. Since Seed didn't take long to come out on DVD in Japan, Bandai put Seed MGs on the fast track. Turn-A came out on DVD between 1999 and 2000 so we can forget about MGs of anything from Turn-A until Bandai decides to reissue it in some form. V Gundam is the latest non-Seed Gundam DVD release in Japan and Bandai didn't even bother with any MGs from V, so things don't look good for X as far as MG releases go.
  18. There is no perfect director. Just like real life, it's all about specialization. Some are good at comedy, some are good at horror, some are good at action, and some are good at sucking. When they try to explore different territories, we get stinking bombs most of the time. That's why people don't hire cooks to do their roofs or have janitors fix their cars.
  19. Actually, he made Gladiator before Hannibal. He was offered the chance to direct Hannibal based on the success of Gladiator. I stand corrected on the order of release (they were only about a year apart). Doesn't change how I feel about each film though.
