  1. Did you actually find any HK DVDs there? I heard AX is imposing a ban on unlicensed merchandise on vendors this year.
  2. That list came from CheapAssGamer.com. Apparently some stores are letting the $4.99 games go (most of them) while some are holding them back and waiting for the 11th, when the sale is supposed to start officially (1 of them in my area). I saw a bunch of people shopping with a printout list... LOL. Most of them couldn't find what they wanted since the place has been looted. Probably would be a good time to buy these games on eBay since we'll have a bunch of sellers competing against each other. La Pucelle: Tactics' price fell to 20-something on eBay last week when Target dropped it to $19.99. If you can't find jack at your local Circuit City, definitely try eBay as the spike of supply makes it a buyer's market now.
  3. Target is putting all their Gundam toys on clearance - everything from SD Gundam figures to Seed model kits. Although the markdown is only about 10 to 15% off...
  4. Well, we know the US release of F91 has been a vaporware since the late 1990s. Guess Zeta is joining its rank too.
  5. I got mine years ago, I think the reason you don't see them anymore is because Bandai is now too busy cracking down on boots instead of putting their own version out on schedule.
  6. Why am I not surprised... at this rate, Zeta won't come out until Seed finishes its re-run on CN.
  7. Arch Enemy figurs are 1/100 (MG) scale. I had a Char's Gelgoog out on display when a friend came over to visit the other day. When he found out it was only 20 bucks he was pissed at how much more he paid for his MG which did not come prebuilt and prepainted by Chinese kids.
  8. To make an event out of an anime show's 20th anniversary, you need merchandising sponsor interest. Judging by how Hasegawa didn't renew the license for some of their Valk kits and Bandai just stopping cold turkey with the Taka reissues, while Yamato isn't exactly setting sales records with their new releases, I think sponsorship interest is not exactly at the level of Gundam's. If Big West owned their own toy company things might have been different, but let's not kid ourselves... Macross is not that huge in Japan, where crap with V fins and red tongues outsell sleek VFs in astronomical proportions.
  9. Do a search here, I think someone posted photos of his PG Wing Zero Custom after it was completed. Anubis also posted his PG Zeta recently. Here's a PG Zaku II painted in Gato colors: gaffer_d_img453x600_10456244520
  10. My sister just picked up a copy for me as my local Targets are lame. You'll see the $49.99 price tag but ask the clerk to scan the game for you. It should come up as $19.99 instead.
  11. Try Rainbow Ten if you can't wait to get yours and don't mind paying shipping from Japan.
  12. All the Gundam FIX Figuration toys are 1/144 in scale. With the MS in Action figures, they are never scaled. If they were, all the Wing and G figures would be shorter than thte UC ones. Their accessories also tend to be out of proportion in relation to the MS, unlike the GFFs, which are more accurately scaled. MS in Action figures are designed to be child's plaything that can take abuses. GFFs are more designed to be premium / collector's display figures.
  13. The back of the Ingram 2's head doesn't look stock - I skimmed through the parts and only saw the same parts as the Ingram 1 for the rear skull, unless there's an additional part that I missed.
  14. That'd be the SD Henke version of Brocken Labor. The only other plastic injection kit it got was the 1/60 scale (builds up to about the size of a HGUC Gundam). It looks like the Kampher because both were designed by Izubuki. Since the Brocken Labor is a minor mecha from the TV series that's not directly associated with any pilot or main characters, they never bothered with a MG release. Bandai should have continued the line with MG Helldiver and MG Type Zero, too bad the lackluster sales made them stop the line. MG Ingram stands slightly taller than a MG Gundam, thanks to its bunny ear. It is proportionally larger as well. That's outstanding work, there are some subtle modifications but were used very effectively. I love all the additional details, like the armor on the back of the head. Was the piece scratchbuilt? How did you paint the blue shoulder lights, was it Tamiya clear blue? On the inside or outside of the part?
  15. Tell you what, I will post a new one when I get a tan after my Mediterranean trip this summer. Dang, my sickly pale joke was pre-empted.
  16. What a disappointment, a bunch of photos and none shows off AgentONE's legendary physique.
  17. What's that female figure? Reminds me of them MS Girls.
  18. Actually, you can't say that about all their kits - they do carry some authentic stuff, and they also carry recasts... I know they carry authentic plastic injection kits like MG Gundams, etc. If they are also carrying authentic garage kits then that's news to me - must be a fairly recent thing. They've carried authentic G-System kits for at least 2 years now. It's where I got my PG G-Defensor from... G System is a HK shop. I thought you mean they carried authentic kits from Kotobukiya, Kaiyodo, Volks, etc. Do the G System kits carry the license sticker from Sunrise?
  19. If you check eBay these days, people still buy the Bandai reissue Super 1S. Whereas the plain 1S never get bids. I don't think HLJ put the Super 1S on clearance until it's been out for a while, unlike the DYRL Hikaru 1A and CF 1A, which went on clearance literally within a week or so upon release.
  20. Yeah, I wasn't talking about adult toys, get yer mind outta the gutter.
  21. Better install a security system in case your GF's bro shows up with guns in hand.
