  1. In English or Japanese? Is it by producers who were actually producers during the production of the film or just some dudes recently hired by Sunrise?
  2. The funny thing is that Sunrise and Bandai were behind F91 throughout the production. They were hoping it'd re-launch a new era of Gundam after Tomino killed off Char and Amuro. They loved it so much, they put most of their merchandising efforts behind the F91 movie instead of the 0083 OVA series. All the cool 0083 merchandise you see these days weren't around when the OVA was first released.
  3. I've always been partial to the Gundam MSV emblems. Every single one had their own charm. This one is rather cool if we're talking badass:
  4. Sounds like it. Woulda been cool if one disc was the original theatrical release and the other one is the "complete" version released on LD and VHS, even though they were virtually identical.
  5. Welcome to last July Welcome to last year
  6. Would be nice if he had an ejectable seat from an actual jet fighter like my friend got.
  7. I am dying to use that raincheck deal on AC5 ASAP, but all Targets in the area still had tons of copies of the game that are on sale this week. Has Konami announced an Xbox version of MGS3? BTW here's a review of MGS3 I wonder if Raiden will return for another round of crotch grabbing action.
  8. Another one who sees the light. The Origin-only English release from Viz is such a joke by comparison.
  9. RIP Jim Varney. They shouldn't have bothered with TS3 when Slinky's voice is no longer available.
  10. Substance has a longer shelf life. SOL is pretty much over after you beat the game, Substance has all the extras to keep you busy, including more unlockables. The good thing about SOL is that the FMVs are less censored when it comes to blood and gore. Chowser: Target has 4 PS2 titles on sale for $39.77 this week - MK: Deception, Spyro: A Hero's Tail, Tony Hawk Underground 2, and SW: Battlefront. The sale is good until this Saturday. Go to your local Target on Friday or Saturday and see which of these 4 games are out of stock, then get a raincheck and substitute MGS3 for it. Get 20% off instantly.
  11. Likewise. I thought you'd have known by now how burnt out I am with with Gundam and don't care to keep up with all the fan work sites that pop up faster than Bandai can crap out new kits.
  12. Nothing beats the classic Gouf. Zaku on steroids!
  13. I am surprised no one's mentioned La Blue Girl yet.
  14. Tom Hanks is about the most middle-of-the-road actor you can find. The casting is obviously calculated for the actor's broad appeal. His face is also about as expressive as a wooden desk. I would rather see someone like Kevin Spacey in the role of a Harvard symbologist if "seeing an actor think" is what they were really after. Edit: Ed Norton, great casting choice! One of the greatest young actor working today.
  15. I guess I'll just have to find out for myself, since music preference is always subjective. The AC5 OST CDs (4 discs!) won't be out for another 5 weeks, I'll have time to cancel my pre-order if I get the game and hate the music.
  16. Thanks, I think I'll wait for SWB's price to drop to 20 bucks, since my PS2 is not online yet - haven't found a game worthy of the hardware upgrade. How tough is AC5 on the DualShock 2's pressure sensitive buttons? I nearly wore my controller out with AC4, if it's as bad with 5, I may have to take the plunge and get that flight stickl controller with the game.
  17. Since I also love TIE Fighter the most, I'll trust your review. So is Battlefront worth the money, or should I wait until it drops to Greatest Hits $19.99? Target has it on sale for $39.77, but I'm not too sure if it's worth the dough considering MGS3 is coming out on Friday. So many darn games... Back on topic, how is the music of AC5? I loved AC4's music, but when I heard they licensed some rock band's music for AC5, I get a bad vibe...
  18. Do door knobs qualify? I can't wait for people to crack Verizon DSL jokes once Ep 3 plays in theaters... huh? The local TV stations have Verizon's DSL promo on heavy rotation, it stars James Earl Jones in a cheesy infomercial-like pitch. I am sick of watching it and always recite Darth Vader lines when his mouth opens to pitch Verizon DSL.
