  1. It's from the New OVA, basically bonus episodes that came on the LDs when the TV series was released on home video.
  2. They came out around the time G Gundam was all the rage. Bandai was planning to release a full line of those "Micro Gundam" figures and even showed the Gouf and Dom in their catalog. Alas due to rising labor cost in Japan and the bubble burst in Japan's economy, the line got canned shortly after they released a few waves consisting of designs and variants based on the RX-78, V Gundam, and Zaku II. Added: BTW, hold on to your Zaku. They are much rarer than the Gundam ones.
  3. That was great, was there more in the thread it came from?
  4. Mobile Suit in Action: non-scaled, child's plaything (throw them against the wall, nothing breaks except maybe some body parts fall off), fairly poseable, worst in terms of proportion accuracy. This line includes the "Advanced" line which actually blew, and the "Extended" line which are basically re-makes of old and crappy versions with newer joint designs and better proportions. Kado Senshi chogokin toys: 1/144 scale, anime-accurate, king of posability, tons of accessories, worth every penny IMO. Gundam FIX Figuration: 1/144 scale, non-lineart accurate (proportions and other details being modified by Katoki's staff), looks good on display but not very poseable (low fun factor if playing with them is big on your list). HCM Pro: smaller than 1/144 scale, very poseable for their size, but details are not too accurate. Arch Enemy: 1/100 scale, kinda hit and miss between poseability and details. The Wing pair are good but the 0079 pair kinda suck. DX MSiA: large sized (about 1/72) figures. Not the most poseables around, but if sheer size and presence floats your boat, the limited lineup (GP01Fb, GP02A, Nu Gundam and Sazabi) means it's easy to complete your collection. While not technically part of the line, the 1/60 Wing Gundam and 1/60 F91 toydels have sometimes been grouped in this same category. MS in Pocket: out of production since the early 1990s, this line consists of over a dozen designs from V Gundam and the Gundam F91. 1/100 G Gundam figures: 2 lines were made. The HK reissue based on the Japanese original was made using cheesy looking materials, much like the HK/US reissue of the 1/60 Wing Gundam Micro Gundams: basically HCM Pro from the early 1990s.
  5. They should make a quiz titled "Which porn site are you?"
  6. Beat me to it, and put it much more eloquently...
  7. Uhm. Okiiieee.... I hope the final product is at least going to look somewhat different, because right now it reminds me more of Ultraman than anything else. (Incidentally, I believe there IS a Patlabour Ultraman spoof episode...) OMG, that's one of the funniest episodes they've made, and that's saying a lot. I even bought cels from that episode.
  8. Just saw your post on my way back from McDonald's! I'm Lovin it, by the way. These aren't advertisments, I doubt that any of these sites paid to be involved in this quiz. Also you should drink Pepsi... Its the choice of a new generation ya know. Total pwnage!
  9. Which website are you? eBay = successful and powerful?! Their customer satisfaction rating has been in the single digit territory over most of last year.
  10. I thought ADV is releasing the pre-production stuff to build up hype so they can get funding for the project. Have they gotten enough funding already?
  11. Good deal. The TRUs around here always had the AE toys for $24.99 each. The one you got it from is probably clearing out its inventory - a lot of TRUs that are closing down are blowing out their stuff at really good prices these days.
  12. That's the Arch Enemy series RX-78-2. They had it in US stores for $19.99. Why would you want to pay nearly twice plus shipping buying from HLJ?
  13. That looks messed up. The 14C should have swapped colors with the 14B for their proper colors. Before anyone says this is Bandai's way of making you buy both sets, note that the forearm add-ons for the 14C is already in the wrong colors, and swapping parts won't help it. Added: Ditto on the head.
  14. meh... Just some angry lefty. What was that about politics and mods again?
  15. In before the lock! Already posted
  16. How many people think Audrey will not be coming back for next season? Jack's like getting a new squeeze every season, I don't see her coming back for more than a cameo by season 5. Maybe Paul will whack her when she tells him off by the end of the season.
  17. I love the old/original kits. It's a matter of nostalgia. For me a Takatoku will always be more valuable than a Bandai reissue, regardless of how much its value has dropped in the market, and the box/packaging is a big part of it.
  18. Those are minor problems compared to how everyone can easily see the 2 big "surprises" coming - when Jack said he's calling "the only person I can trust" you know it had to be Tony. Also with the Edgar geekasm it is so obvious that it's a trap set up by the terrorists, what he did wouldn't even help but only make the situation worse. Cool episode in terms of meeting audience expectaions, but the show shouldn't be that predictable...
  19. Shirefolk Rhapsody Flash animation compressed in RAR format, use WinRAR to decompress it and view it in a web browser or Flash player.
  20. Damn, the Jack Bauer power hour has just become the Tony Almeda power hour!
  21. Metal Material Model, the line started with Turn-A and they made more Seed ones under that "brand".
  22. If this mail order deal is ran like the mag's previous offers, you have to buy the mag/book and clip out the order form and send it in with your payment. In other words, even if you manage to buy the mag or book, you still need to jump through hoops to get the figure. Since the mail order deal is open to Japan residents only, your best bet is to compete with other gaijin otakus on Yahoo Japan auctions.
