  1. ^ O, look, it's Darth Stewie...
  2. Yeah.... NO! Thanks anyway; I'll wait and see what happens after release.
  3. All this picture bombing, not that I'm complaining, is really tempting me to request shipment from my HLJ PW... must resist...
  4. You know, I actually woke up in time to check CDJ out of curiosity and see 7 units available for pre order, but I passed on it... just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger after plucking down $284, before shipping, for a VF-0D. Maybe I'm just getting tired of recolors of the same thing,
  5. Pretty dang good season finale.
  6. For someone living in the US, there's no compelling reason to order something off N-Y that is readily available at HLJ, unless the price is so much cheaper that it outweighs HLJ's much less expensive shipping options. However, if you live in a country that imposes an importation tax, N-Y's willingness to declare any amount on the customs paperwork can save the buyer a bundle. Edit: xrentox beat me to it...
  7. For under $17 shipped, how can you go wrong? Ordered!
  8. H33L will likely freeze over before a RT movie...
  9. Got my payment request from HLJ, will pay on the 1st. After that, I'll probably leave in PW to give me time to decide if there's anything else I'd like to add for combined shipment: 1/4000 SDF-1? 1/48 AT-ST? 1/1000 Gatlantis Nazca Class? Something else I haven't even considered?... decisions, decisions...
  10. Not playing the pre-order game on this version. If it's available at/or bellow retail upon release I might buy a copy; as nice as it is, it's still not an absolute must-have in my book, like the 30th.
  11. There can be only one...
  12. ^All that means is that HLJ, and others, have sold out of their preorder allotments. The 1/48 X-Wing isn't a limited edition kit, AFAIK, so they'll get restock after release, and should be available as an in-stock or back-order item for a long time to come.
  13. There were no transformable Tomcats or Fulcrums in Macross Zero; they were just upgraded (avionics mostly) versions of those fighters. That being said, 1/60 scale F-14 Kai and Mig-29 toys with the opening cockpits, removable pilot figures, varied ordnance, and retractable landing gears would rock!
  14. There are very few things in this world more entertaining to witness than unbridled fanboy indignation (it's always so devoid of grounded objectivity), and to see if their collective tantrum actually has any effect.
  15. This should come as a sticker prominently applied to every Toynami product.
  16. Except that Saburo's pics make every single toy he photographs look far, far, better than the actual piece in real life. Images that good could be considered false advertising...
  17. If you pre-ordered in UDS and selected pay later, just contact them through their website and request to be invoiced in JPY when the payment request is issued. If you've already paid, you're SOL.
  18. Wow! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and forgot to put on their sense of humor... You'd think that the " " would be a dead giveaway that I was being facetious.
  19. Good taste? Wisdom? Common sense? Self respect?
  20. So, according to photos, we're either getting navy blue (too dark and saturated) with white (too light, and wrong), or royal blue (too light and bright, and very wrong) with light gray/off white (about right). Given the variability due to different cameras, lighting conditions, and background factors, it looks like we'll need to wait for people to start getting theirs and report on what the final colors truly are.
  21. I want to be proven wrong, but this has all the hallmarks of ending up as another Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
  22. I'd say forget about Arcadia re-releasing the YF-19 anytime in the next 2 years, if not longer, because the first run came out not too long ago, and, as jenius pointed out, Bandai is in the game with their VF-19 Advanced DX. Arcadia could, however, release a VF-19A Ravens in order to get more use out of the tooling, as long as they hold the licensing rights to allow them t do so, and the foresight to see that the demand is there.
  23. Whether a typo or not, that's just brilliant!
