    Once marketing is factored in, this thing is unlikely to even come anywhere close to breaking even, let alone turn a profit; it may very well turn into the biggest financial bomb in Marvel history, which after Quantumania and The Marvels is saying something.

    Or, they were contractually obligated to produce a minimum of two seasons, just like Velma. Note that that particular abomination was unceremoniously canceled after the 2nd season was done.

    Star Trek has been turned into such a moribund franchise by this point, due to gross mismanagement and massively unpopular shows over the last several years that even main legacy characters, let alone obscure ones (see also Star Wars), will not sell in large enough numbers to justify the investment in warehousing space, let alone shelf/pegs at the retail level.

    Well, I would not look askance if they were to reissue the Cavaliers version or decided to finally release an Alaska Base livery one and/or a Low-Viz; as for everything else VF-1, I share your sentiment.

    Thankfully, everything I preordered with them has been delivered but the humongous wait for the Dana figure soured me to ever paying upfront, partial or full payment, ever again; if/when they announce something of interest to me and I feel the urge to place a preorder, I'll go through BBTS or elsewhere... if it's delayed indefinitely, they completely flake out or just go under, it won't matter.

    Judging by the more colorful reviews available, not only did PRIME and everyone else involved learn nothing, they doubled down. Wonder how many of the 30% who bothered to finish the 1st season will come back for the 2nd and stick with it to the end... and, as I understand it, Amazon is contracted for five seasons of this financial hemorrhage.

    I'll third that sentiment but the wings do give me pause. I suppose the most efficient and stable solution would be interchangeable sets, one for each folding/folded state; also, given how thin they would be, the boosters, if included, would likely present some sagging issues unless the plastic grade of the boosters are extremely light or the ones for the wings that mount them are very tough/rigid. Regardless... BRING IT ON!

    Down Periscope is a silly hoot One of my guilty pleasures is the incredibly mediocre, and often quite bad, cinematic mis-adaptation (more like a name recognition slapped on an incongruous story with a few borrowed element to make it seem legit) Wing Commander. I know it's a mess of a poor excuse for a theatrical release trying to capitalize, way too late, on a popular videogame IP, with incredibly asinine themes an subplot(s), but I enjoy the heck out the capital ship and some of the fighter action, and the overall atmosphere of the universe depicted. Getting back to Kraven, if it's anything even remotely close to Morbius, it's going to be nigh unwatchable. I tried to power through Morbius when it finally debuted on FX and it was a stupefying, mind numbing experience I never want to go through again.

    It always amazes me how many people fail to comprehend this self-evident distinction. A good movie is objectively good, measured by several different criteria; ditto for a mediocre or bad or downright awful film. On the subjective end of things, people can dislike good movies or like bad ones as enjoyment is an individual perspective. The vexing thing, however, are the people who take the dunking on a movie they happen to like, despite its plain-to-see lack of quality -- in part or the whole -- as a personal affront.

    And you don't have to subscribe to D+ to legally watch it, if you want to, which means there is NOTHING in there truly worth paying for, at all, and hasn't been since Andor.

    Ditto! If I ever again feel the urge to pre-order anything from them, I'll do it through BBTS. Paying upfront and waiting up to 3 years to get your item (Dana) is for chumps.
